Would you have played knockout as a teenager because of peer pressure

I have no idea why kids today are so violent. We were hippie peaceniks. Flower power, love, and peace (man). We did have some upper class-men that we called beer-freaks. But they would just call you out to fight behind the Dairy Queen. Then they mostly wouldn't show up.

I probably did do some things due to peer pressure. Smoking, drinking, and shop lifting come to mind.

Sunday punching someone without warning was a cowardly act. No one wanted to be known for that. I did get Sunday punched a couple of times when I was in bars and older. Which sucked because the bouncers would run over and grab you so that you couldn't get revenge. Still a cowardly act in my mind.

No. And wouldn't have hung with anyone who did. I did my share of crap was a teenager, but hurting people on purpose wasn't on the list.

There's no peer pressure in the world that would have gotten me involved in anything close to that. I shoplifted. I ditched school. I drank. I ran away from home. But a knock-out game? NFW.

I was going to say something very similar, but you said it well. :) I would never do that either. It's just rotten IMO. I can honestly say that I've never physically harmed another person.

I look at the knockout game and think is so ridiculous and cruel. However I remember being a teenager and doing stupid things because of peer pressure. I wonder if I would have played the knockout game because of peer pressure. Would you have played the knockout game as a teenager because of peer pressure?

No, I would not have hurt someone like that because of peer pressure. I was foolish as a teenager, but not hateful and mean.

I'm happy for you and others like you. I wish I could say for certain I would not have done such a thing as a teenager.
