All because Obama is openly and secretly destroying our military to pave the way for Kenyan Muslim world domination! He's like an evil John the Baptist.

It's not a secret, all you have to do is look at our military today.

1/2 of the Marine Corps FMF are not properly armed, equipped and trained and can be deployed. The Army is in really bad shape, only 3 out of 33 combat brigades are properly trained, armed and equipped that can be deployed. The Air Force and Navy aren't doing to well either.

The main priority of the Obama administration is social engineering of our military not national security.

As for the "Kenyan Muslim world domination," you're a conspiracies wacko.

Ok, then why is Obama purposely destroying the military?

Excellent points. I'm not quite old enough to remember Hungary 1956, but I've done a lot of reading about it. Yes, I agree that we encouraged many people to their deaths.

Many of Clinton's actions/retaliations might as well have been empty rhetoric. They were about as useful.

That's what Osama bin Laden believed Americas response would be, launching a hundred Tomahawk cruise missiles and that would be it.

Ends up G.W. Bush wasn't a pantywaist, he put American boots on the ground in Afghanistan and other places that most people are unaware of because they aren't suppose to know. It's known as "Bush's Secret War against Al Qaeda."

That what the fringe on the left always wanted to do.

Remember how the left treated our troops returning from Vietnam ? I still remember.

Remember what the left did back in 1975 ? I remember, they surrendered and refused to continue to fight the Cold War.

Remember what the left did after 1975 to our military ? A hollow military force.

So, what's the end game?

Bonehead policies, or empty threats?

Of the two, it's a relative question.

This question is prompted by President Obama's current rhetoric toward Russia regarding Ukraine. "Oh boy, you better not do nothin'" It's just empty rhetoric, and everybody knows it. We aren't going to do squat.

On the other hand, we certainly don't make many friends with many of the policies we do carry out.

Disclaimer: To be fair, Obama is not the only President to have employed empty rhetoric, so it's more of a generic question. This current events are only prompting the question.

Both of these damage American credibility in the world's eyes.

Compare that to Regan, who, the day of his inauguration, had the Iranians turning over the American hostages. No doubt in their minds that Regan had credibility to give them a hard time until those hostages were freed. Seems like that was the last time that US had real credibility in the international arena.

If you're going to do something, do it don't talk about it. By all means keep the liberals out of the mix.

No matter how many empty threats, the world knows the US could do a lot at any given moment. That reality insulates empty threats by the US with the presumption that the US decided not to but WAS capable. As long as US capability is an undisputed reality, bad policy is worse.

You are right, if course. A man who squeaks threats and fidgets wildly leaves an impression, especially when he owns the big bomb.
