When did America get satisfied with second rate?
He touched her over her bra and underpants, she says, and guided her hand to touch him over his underwear

What's the difference to them? I either pay up and shut up, or I go without any internet at all..... they're the only choice.

You either need a free market system with open competition, OR you need the government to step in and mandate that they get their butts in gear. The American system is the worst of both worlds.
Our local cable market is also monopolized, but next to our cable company there are several other options that provide fast internet for comparable prices. There are at least 3 or 4 other big providers that can compete with the cable company for fast internet.

Your speed means that the AVERAGE user in 15 different countries have faster internet than you. The average user doesn't pay for the premium speed. And I'm sure you pay for the premium speed.
Mine is pretty terrible, all told.

I've known that for ages though. I can't even play a decade old MMO without lagging like Hell.

People refuse to believe me when I tell them that we're getting ripped off with Bell South either way regardless though.

lol. Try comparing apples to apples. We have so much rural **** to deal with compared to Hong Kong it's not even funny.
Fios and Uverse and for rural, satellite, is good compared to all that.

Speed is fine, and I am one who gets impatient heating stuff up in the microwave. Its too expensive, that's my complaint.

I say it's min wage. Give us min wage like Hong Kong and Singapore, and we can hire an army of low paid workers to create the infrastructure. Take your pick.

That's what I'm talking about. Where is the insta-banquet like in Back to the Future 2. Some pellets and DING! Roast Turkey with fixings.

More serious, my microwave just died after 1 whole year, and it was already repaired twice. New? $400. Repair? $400. And it's a Whirlpool which is not the high price brand! It's a scam!

You've got it good. The idiots here in America don't realize the rest of the Western World passed them by 5 or 6 years ago. Not just internet speed, but quality of life in general. America's pretty much been garbage since 2008.

Sweden replaced all those worthless hot water radiators used in 99% of apartments (and homes even!) with modern climate control? That's nice to hear. Those people were living like 1950 America.

    Oh, wait. That didn't happen.
