    Re: life without a penis

I live quite well without one.

But I can't deny that I haven't wondered what it would be like to have one.

You know, I really love these sorts of threads that have the potential to bring us all together. In this regard, I hereby offer this opportunity for a heartfelt by suggesting that we can probably agree that life for all of us would go along quite swimmingly without Sawyer's penis.

Since I've never had one, I'd have to opt for living, since I wouldn't know what I was missing.

Well, loosely speaking we were born with one, but it's small and concealed for the most part, and pretty much serves one single purpose, so we just have to suffer with it.

That thread was born from a circumcision thread where the poster of the penile cancer thread was trying to make the argument there is a connection between the two, but of course, that connection was debunked years ago. In any event, that reminds me of something else when thinking about this thread. Men that get circumcised as adults feel a certain level of loss and depression over it, while on the other hand, men that get it done as infants will not know the difference and will commonly think there is nothing wrong with them. The difference between the two groups mentioned comes down to experience that gives the former group a reason to feel loss, while not having the experience, gives the later group no reason to feel such loss. I have no doubt the same is true here and it's why I imagine most men wouldn't want to live without their penis or at the very least suffer from a certain amount of depression over the loss of it, making some of the posts in this thread retarded. As for me, I wouldn't want to live after something like that.

Oh and btw, even with the increase the cancer is still extremely rare. The point was rather stupid to begin with where it was originally used on all fronts.
