Several months ago a SWAT team in Texas was summoned in order to issue a "No Knock" arrest warrant in the middle of the night. The purpose of the raid was to obtain two pot plants and some seedlings which constitutes a misdemeanor amount of drugs in the state of Texas. The SWAT TEAM wanted to confiscate the legally owned guns as well but it's Texas so the police were prevented from doing so.
So is it normal/acceptable for SWAT teams to kick down people's doors in the middle of the night in order to apprehend people for misdemeanor crimes?
