In the development, surely there are a couple of wastes of flesh and oxygen. Thankfully I don't have to deal with the whole group, just the people in my building (my fiance and I don't use any of the shared facilities in the development - pool, sports fields, etc...). What I can do is to control what goes on in my unit and to ensure I've moved into a building where the chances of its presence are as low as possible.

Yes, many do, and I go out of my way to avoid their homes, businesses, etc.... My fiance and I avoided the 4th birthday party of one of her nephews last Monday because it was at Chuck E Cheese, where they don't allow firearms possession.

Considering that you spend a significant portion of your day hanging out with potheads I think you do accept its use. In fact I wouldn't be surprised to find that you are a closet smoker.

How do you come up with the idea that I hang around with potheads? I have never used it, and never will. Hell, I've never used any illicit drug, never smoked, and you can count the number of alcoholic drinks I have in a year on one hand's worth of fingers.

You hang out on here with all of us on DP a lot. This site has quite a few "users". You've been with me all morning and I am baked.

Also this is exactly what a closet smoker would say so that people wouldn't know. Coincidence?

Ever think maybe there's a reason I keep you folks on the other side of a computer screen, Kreton.

As for being a closet smoker.... that would be very easy for me. I've got severe glaucoma in both eyes and live in a medical marijuana state. Both of my brothers-in-law to be are constant pot smokers. Getting it would be no problem for me. However, some of us actually believe in morals and values. I turned a roommate in during my freshman year in college for having that **** in our dorm room. I take considerable offense at the fact that you think I would ever even consider puting that putrid filth in my body.

I'd like to see it so we can start decreasing jail terms for non-violent drug users and because it's not the government's business.

How is it moral to take a pill to control glaucoma, but immoral to use pot for the same purpose? That makes no sense at all to me.

What if the active chemical was extracted and placed in an oil medium, for example, allowing application without smoking?

Not even sure that's possible, but it sounds like your main issue is the smoking part, or ingesting the plant directly

If the taxes could be used to pay for "entitlements" I'm all for it!
