Ergo, progress is just getting people to read.
Progress is getting people to think and understand for themselves. Most people are happy being part of the herd, and are quite happy to give the responsibility for themselves to a third party, the government. But who does the government really represent?

That is exactly correct. The herd does not know that the gov't represents Big Money, although they were beginning to get suspicious during OWS. A complete failure of our Media is the greatest problem. That is why I rant about the Mainstream Media and CIA/Intelligence Agency assets infiltrating that Media at all levels. I'm not anti-rich and realize when someone /group is making jobs, and just as quickly realize when someone/group is eliminating jobs. I see the development of a Corporate Management of our Government and I don't like it. One simple statement. Our Gov't could have initiated Renewable Energy programs to combat the GW Bush Great Depression by adopting policies that encouraged Local Solar PV, Local Wind generaters, Local Co-Generation facilities, Local Methane generators, etc. and the LOCAL nature of the projects would have boosted LOCAL economies by creating jobs to install equiptment, making jobs to maintain equiptment, reducing the flow of LOCAl economy monies out of the LOCAL region, the reduce flow leading to more LOCAL spending and that spending creating entrepreneural opportunity. Instead, the USA gave the "too big to fail" banks trillions of dollars with which to shuffle paper. Granted that these banks could have failed without the monies, but bad business practices lead to failure and pay attention to those record bonuses. We are being gamed by Big Corporate and they are not trying to hide it as they did in the past. That seems ominous to me.

It makes no sense to get worked up about banks. If we trust them with the power to create and manage our money supply, we can trust them in everything they do. So, forget about the banks and return to the more important things in life, like beer, sports and Internet porn.
...banks shouldn't be the ones creating money supply.
You know the time is right to take control, we gotta take offense against the status quo
