What's the big deal?

Leave it to the Air Force, the only branch to reject prior service Soldiers and Marines because they're "too military".
I'm not a fan of American Hegemony, aka empire. A base in the middle of the Pacific, which is now a state, is simply too costly and outside the purview of our founding. Of course, our paradigm is that America is the world's cop and therefore should be in the Philippians and battling Japanese on the Pacific Islands no one really cares about. But, I ask why? This is disappointing from you calamity.
There would not even have been a Battle of Midway without our Aircraft Carriers, none of which were in Pearl at the time.
Midway was the pivot point in the War in the Pacific.
With Japan also in the Aleutions, we had a real problem, and many thousands of our soldiers paid the ultimate price.
To think that the USA Navy attacked at Pearl was not the pervue of the USA is hard to even fathom in one's head.
Like saying we shouldn't have expelled the Japanese from the Philipines, MacArther,
or dropped the two bombs, to prevent a half million more dead soldiers .
Licking posters is bad now?
Regardless men and women died there during the fight. It was a strategic naval facility that served to base our Pacific fleet assets that were in fact charged with, among other things, protecting the mainland from enemy naval forces. State or not it's value in the defense of our western coast is without question and was instrumental in our eventual offensive to defeat Japan.
Had the Japanese been able to secure Pearl Harbor and keep our Pacific fleet contained they would have absolutely used it as a base from which to launch naval and air attacks against the U.S. Possibly even a ground offensive, but that would not have had much chance of success.
The USA did not have to take sides in the war in Europe in the first place.
Just as we have no business stopping the madman in North Korea now? And, our involvement with the war against Japan back in 41 was stupid. It is what it is though, water under the bridge..

Even China doesn't know what to do with them.
Have you seen the latest human rigthts paper on Dennis Rodman's favorite Dear Leader.
The UN could barely hold its lunch down .
So now the OP needs to bring in Jane Fonda and the Noth Vietnamese to make his point. What point was that again sawyer? My older Vietnam buddies still have pics of dead VC heads on their choppers. Do you approve of that for boosting morale also ?
It makes it a "who cares" non-event.
With rape and suicides running rampant in our armed forces, methinks we have bigger concerns than someone slobbering their tongue on a poster. Not to me it doesn't. The POW's (and other casualties) taken in the Revolutionary, and every battle since, have contributed to our right to say and do stupid things. Forum members are allowed that right. Military members are not.
It has been a while, but when I was military, we were told often and loudly that while we were wearing the uniform, we were expected to act in a manner not disrespectful to the military, the uniform, or the country. Apparently that is no longer emphasized.
In ships filled with war materials to kill Germans.Especially since Germany's U-boats were parked off our Eastern shores sinking our Merchant Marines.
The reality of the matter is that it was contrary to US national security interests to enter WWII.We should have stayed in Isolationist mode and ignored the realities of the world, as some posters do to this very day .
What's wrong with it?

To think we were allied with Stalin, a murderous megalomaniac who makes Hitler look like a choirboy. In ships filled with war materials to kill Germans.

How many Americans were slaughtered because of FDR? How many were enslaved?
Democrats are evil.

I guess this pic has gone viral. It makes me want to vomit and this so called lady needs to be dishonorably discharged IMO.

The options are kind of limited. Don't you think?
While I was in the Marine Corps the command even as low as the company level had the authority to administer Non-judicial punishment. A NJP never results in being kicked out. This is an inappropriate use of the military uniform. It's not a big deal but that doesn't mean it isn't a small or medium sized deal. This soldier does not to be reminded of her duties as a soldier to represent her nation proudly.
THe latest poutrage from the bootlickers of war mongers.
a dishonorable discharge would be in order.
I carried a pic holding two VC heads in my wallet for years. It made me feel better then but they are in an old cigar box now.
