My point is the OP is being hypocritical from the start. Nevertheless, this thread was about gay rights, not religious rights. I typically try to stay out of the gay rights threads, exist when someone tries to mask it under something like religion.
Ok then may i provide a different example to bring it back to the intended topic? What about divorce. Catholicism may allow it today, but they still condone it. And yet many country's all over the world all over the world say yes to it. So, if the religion says dont, and your country says it is okay, who is right?

You don't know that.

What is the point of this post, you don't know that they wouldn't either. Since we have no idea what would happen, it is also safe to assume complete disolvement of the religion all together, or for that matter, another 4 holy wars or peace on earth. The point is that no one knows.

Again YOU have the religious freedom to never get divorced, but you can not force your view of divorce on others who do not follow your religion. When that happens then their religious freedom is being denied. You have the religious freedom to control how YOU live and how you practice your religion, but you do not have the freedom to tell others that they have to live by your religious dictates.

My apologies if i have insulted your religion. I heard somewhere that it did and that was obviously wrong. Again very sorry.

Thank you, but there is nothing to apologize for. You certainly haven't insulted my religion.

So you are calling the beliefs held by billions of people irrelevant?

No I'm not, learn to read. You're trying to limit one person's freedom in favor of another's.
