Another conservative tantrum thread about civil war. Next up : Republicans win an election, and liberals threaten to move to Canada.

Utter nonsense. I'll tell you one outcome, though : if you guys start blowing each other up over a lost election, I will leave. Scotland rather than Canada, though. Back to my roots, and you guys can throw all the tantrums that you want over the other Fisher Price My First Political Party's victory without me having to dodge bullets because of hyperbolic idiocy.

Nope, that's ridiculous. Americans, in general, are far too lazy to get off their butts and go to war, especially against their own country.
There is nothing demonstrably true that religion can provide the world that cannot be achieved more rationally through entirely secular means.

Elections have consequences, and the rightists will never come to grips with BHO.
Progress--ives, Liberals/DEMs, Blue Dogs better figure out a way to deal with this House, for the Nation's good.
The GOPees in the House need help to coalesce around "something", then we can negotiate with them .

Another good reason why people think libertarians are a joke.

No we wouldn't; we wouldn't be allowed to have internet access.

Actually I do think it provides us with more evidence as to just who are the whack-job bat guano crazies in this country and why they believe they only have a chance at winning it everyone has to lose.

That is becoming an increasingly important and useful feature of this site with ever passing day as it reveals more and more extremists who are busy building a new basement underneath the bottom of the barrel.

There are two novels that can change a bookish fourteen-year old's life: The Lord of the Rings and Atlas Shrugged. One is a childish fantasy that often engenders a lifelong obsession with its unbelievable heroes, leading to an emotionally stunted, socially crippled adulthood, unable to deal with the real world. The other, of course, involves orcs.... John Rogers

The consequence of the 2010 midterms was that the Democrats lost a ****load of political power. Deal with it. The government doesn't revolve around one party.
