College educated business analysists working 80 hours a week, on stress medications, and in the end, not making ends meet, clearly are in the wrong profession.

Either that, or, you're exaggerating for effect.

Out of curiosity, if money does not trickle down, where does it trickle from?

I do have confidence in our President, but then I ignore the conservatives - seems as if there are a lot of them.....or....they are a very loud minority.

What are you confident that the President will accomplish that will benefit you and the country?

Nobody said that they wasn't making ends meet. The point I am making is Corporation will work you to death like a government mule before hiring additional people. I seen it done and people who work in corporate America know I am telling the truth unless you are the slave driver. So I ask you why would a CEO hire additional people when he is clearly making good profit with staff he currently have.

For you to say that working 80 hours in the IT world is a exaggeration clearly shows that you don't know **** about this industry...

Are the 80 hours done continuously? Like 3.3 days without stopping? Or is it 7 days, 11+ hours a day. How about 16 hours a day, 5 days a week?

    Regardless, I'm stuck on exageration.

Hell, at 80 hours a week, they are working just like a CEO, so they should seriously think about modifying some skill sets and start climbing the corp ladder. The pay is much better.

SMH.... You have totally lost the whole point of the original conversation.

    Rocketman
My own, but you would just write them off for some liberal programming that is based on lazy ****s that never did anything to better themselves

    Me
To say that people who are not successful are lazy ***es is probably one of the most ignorant statements I've heard from the right. I had co_workers on anxiety medications because they are overwhelmed with stress working 80 hours a week.

    Cephus
Then maybe they should have gotten an education when they had a chance or made better decisions in their lives, such that they didn't have to work 80 hours a week to get by?

    Me
These are college educated people. Business analyst, Project Managers, developers, etc.
These are the cogs that make companies richer. Without them companies are worthless.
But that is the way our country is now. Its not about people or families anymore, it is about profit.

Also, you think that the average CEO puts in 80 hours a week?????

    Obama is a proven liar.
He misled the public on what "change" really meant.
He uses the US Constitution like it's toilet paper.
He can't bring himself to be accountable for anything.
He is divisive in every aspect of government.
He demonizes his detractors and misuses the power of the presidency to attack those that criticize him.

The list could go on and on. What's to trust? He is (and I actually thought this was impossible) worse than Jimmy Carter as a president.

    I'll answer the last question.

Do I think the average CEO puts in 80 hours a week? Absolutely.

Do I think the average IT employee puts in 80 hours a week? Not for a second.
