I don't either. Anyone who pays any attention already knows the state of the union, we don't need to hear it from him.

Meh, I suppose it lays out the incumbent's legislative agenda for the next year, but yeah, the SOTU is usually fluff.

I tend to just read the summary afterwords and the summary of the response from the other party. It is more time efficient.

If you want to know about the USA read a book.

You willnot learn anything about the USA by listening to Obama blame other people for the state of the unión.
