WIsh people fought more against these state violations, like many are now fighting against SSM bans.

ok my off topic little rant is over lol
That made me chuckle, not a LOL, but a chuckle. I agree, gun permits and CCP should be recognized nationwide. But to be honest about it, I never thought of gun permits the same way I do or did drivers licenses. But it makes sense.

On SSM, I think the federal government should just recognize all SSM regardless of the state one resides in. That way one could go get married in D.C. and return to Georgia and still be able to receive federal benefits along with filing federal taxes jointly. At least it is my understanding one must live in a state where SSM is legal for the federal government to recognize it.

But for way too long we have been electing Republicans and Democrats who happen to be Americans instead of Americans who happen to be Republicans and Democrats.

well that USED to be the case, the FED recognize ALL marriages now. All SSM marriages are FEDERALLY recognized and lawful. But there are states that are still denying rights but that won't last forever.

But the point i was getting at was its just easier to get married, naturally move around the country and then be in a state that is denying equal rights and fight for them.
Then so many natural things like hospital visitation, property rights, taxes etc can be argued and theres no laws being broke.

If i just carry my gun across the country i COULD become a felony and its hard to fight for individual rights from jail or even want to take that risk, guess thats what i was getting at. One is easier to fight for.

You have to read my other post. I wasn't arguing that they were adults.

and if you do i would LOVE to hear any facts or sound logic backing this claim up.

being 13 once, having a large family, raising a daughter passed that point and working with 13yr olds for 11 years I personally think this idea is mentally insane, irrational, delusional and has zero logic to support it.

many 13 yr olds would kill themselves and others if treated like adults
a 13 year old should be treated as an adult and raised accordingly period. what a difference 100 years makes. Wow seriously.
