interesting, its an anonymous poll, no one would know how you voted

Me, I have A BA, JD and masters in Labor relations and law

And I was the Postmaster General and I had an affair with Halle Berry when she was married to David Justice and I currently am a major shareholder of the United States Federal Reserve.

Not that I am saying you are not telling the truth...but who cares? You can't prove it and I don't really care that much even if you could.

I have learned that the less the world knows about you...the better. You disagree...fine.

Oh, and my favorite color is royal blue.

Good day.

Good day.

I suspect you don't want to post because you would feel inferior to those of us with higher level of educations. If you feel inferior why not just avoid this thread,

And you are not Patrick Donahoe, John Potter, William Henderson, or Marvin Runyon: I have met all of them and served as their attorney in various cases.

Ummm...okaaaay.

Well, nice talking to you.

Good day.

Mad? At you?

Turtle dude...I think you are an intelligent bully (who I sometimes agree with) with anger management issues who likes to brag/make up things...who now it seems is trying to put words in my mouth over some silly little subject.

No offense...but I don't take you very seriously.

Lose the anger and the 'putting words in my mouth' issues...and that might change.

Now if there is nothing else...I would like to move on.

LOL I merely was telling the truth about myself and you get all upset and start calling names. I cannot help it if you are upset when you want to compare yourself to me

I have no anger. I think those reading this thread will see who got angry. and it wasn't me

Lol...now you are telling me I am 'upset'.

Man, I know this may sound hard to believe...but one has to take someone seriously to be upset by them.

And I don't take you seriously (on most issues...though not all)...no offense (for the reasons I listed).

Now, since you clearly insist I am thinking/feeling things that I don't AND since we are probably breaking the rules now by getting personal AND you clearly can't seem to stop wanting to talk to me (for whatever reason...I don't know...you would think a guy with all your supposed cred would have better things to do, I guess not)...then I am going to have to just say...

...we are done here.

Adieu.

Anybody in the field who has ever seen TD sum up a complex issue on here in a couple sentences and then destroy the adversaries' argument in a third has no doubt that he's a very experienced attorney.

(the following is nothing to do with TurtleDude...he could be a lawyer, I don't know)

But I don't believe anything, anyone says online unless they can factually prove it...especially on a chat forum.

Why anyone would do otherwise is beyond me.

Believing someone is probably something they claim is one thing.

But having no doubt? No offense, but I call that a tad naive.

In my business (investing), it is dangerous to trust anyone on anything.

Sometimes it's a matter of knowing what you're looking at.

I think having faith in anyone but a loved one or close friend is naive.

So I trust nothing outside of that group without proof (unless I have to trust them/it for some reason).

But, each to their own.

we ought to play, I was close to a 2200 level player. NOt a great athlete-really fast hands though. huge backhand loop drive and flat kill. I can play all sorts of different styles from two winged topspin to off the table chop defense to close to the table off the bounce loop or drive. I also was a top 50 hardbat player in the country in th 80s.

Is that you throwin' down the gloves? 'cause I am in! You could get here in 20 hours or so... depending on flights and headwinds.

I played one tourney and they gave me a rating in the 1200's. I beat all the guys on the UCLA Table Tennis Club the week before.

I have those quick hands too... something false and I snatch it before most know it even fell... used to freak my ex out when I would do that because she was shocked out of still talking. I am better at extreme sport stuff though... big wave body surfing (the Wedge, Newport Beach), downhill mountain biking, rock climbing... stuff when it is just reactions and your life on the line. I am no junky... just find it fun. And I am fast... one of the faster white guys out there. All this makes me simply awesome. Awesome I tell you.

1200 is respectable. My kid is playing about 1400 but his rating is a couple hundred points behind. I made a big jump 25 years ago when I took out the then top two cadets in the USA who both were over 2450. sadly I went to the 93 US Open after three weeks fighting viral than bacterial pneumonia and had no stamina-I lost deuce in the third to the NYC #1 Fernandez who was 2500+ and same with 2350 Collegiate Champ Sean Lonergan and lost three deuce games to the Mexican #1 in the 30+ third round. lost a bunch of points to lower rated players though a few points here and there I would have been over 2300. About 1800-1900 now. DOn't play tournaments these days

when I got married, we went on a Royal Caribbean Cruise and they had a ping pong tournament. I was not allowed to use the pair of paddles I had with me-though I often played with this German guy who was about a 1650 on that 10 day cruise. But when they had the tournament the ship was moving and it was windy. The German guy got beat by the guy I played in the finals and we played one game to 21. He was up like 11-6 but we changed sides and I got the side where the wind was coming at me-meaning I could hit hard and the ball would stay on the table (and I was a really good hard bat player at on time). I won 21-11-everything this guy hit was blown long off the table on that side.

I played him later in the cruise when we were docked at one of the ports -he wasn't bad and he too had his own paddle but he had never seen some of the serves I had (reverse Pendulum) and missed almost all of them

I went on an Alaskan Cruise and the ship is crewed by Philippino's, if you can believet that, and I spent a lot of time playing them in the crew galley... that was fun. My university had a ton of Vietnamese students and I was the only white guy that got into those games simply because I approached them to play. I think that I should have played some more tourney's and seen what I could have done.

when I was in Law school, I was on one of the very best university teams in the USA-before Texas Wesleyan or Lindenwood started recruiting TT Players. We had a team that would have made the UN proud-team members including international level competitors from Iceland, India and Ghana, Me, a Chinese-American guy from Jersey, an Israeli-Canadian guy from Toronto and a former US #1 Junior from the Middle of Nowhere Pennsylvania who had beaten both the Boggan boys at the US Teams.

We would expect nothing less from a scion of the most prestigious family in the state.
