Somewhat pessimistic.
I think income inequality is going to become a larger and larger problem until the middle class nearly disappears.
I think the political parties will become more and more divided and argumentative.
I think government spending on both sides of the aisle will continue to be a serious problem.
But I tend to have a pessimistic outlook towards nearly everything, so that's not abnormal.
