Yeah, that's what I thought it was too. It's only partly true.

IMO, America has virtually no chance of maintaining it's financial and military superiority for much longer...maybe a decade or two.

She is already having to resort to the old fall back position when some empires (military or economic) start to erode...massive debt.

Unless other world powers have huge troubles (like China when it eventually gives up on communism) or there is a major war soon...America being the big kid (bully?) on the block's days are numbered, IMO.

Will she be powerful after that? Yes, very. But not almost all-powerful as she is today.

Our education is falling behind the rest of the world with almost every 3rd world Asian Nation coming in ahead of us.
Instead of making improvements we are falling farther behind each year. Instead of teaching our children modern science, we are letting right wing fanatics stop our children from learning.

We do have some of the best medical care in the world for our rich. But for our poor, our medical care ranks among the worst on the planet with Nations like Cuba putting us to shame.
For our average citizen, lifespan and other medical stats are lagging behind the rest of the world. We continue to put the most money into it and get the least for our dollar.

Our politics has become completely dishonest. Most everything that comes out of the Right Wing is a complete deception. Non stop fake scandals and untruths are pumped out with unity.
Our Right Wing is completely fanatical and bent on our destruction, yet our Left Wing, if left unchecked, will swing too far left and create damage almost as severe.

I could come up with a lot more topics but am out of time.
Our future is bleak at best.

Your future might look bleak to you, but our future looks pretty good to me.

In the not-distant future the Tea Party will have about the same level of influence and power in the USA as the John Birch Society currently has.

It may not disappear but it will have no power.

The Tea Party will disappear in the next thirty years.

    Wait and see.

We have already "work together" on my socialist homeland. Аs a result, the USSR disappeared from the maps of the world. So it's not the best way of development.
