Nope. From San Antonio, Corpus Christi (I-37) is only about halfway to Brownsville (US 77).

This is how I feel. I love to travel and experience new places, even if it would be Paris, TX. I've driven through the state a dozen times but have only stayed the night, usually in Fort Worth, so I haven't really gotten to really experience it. I have been wanting to go really bad to San Antonio for awhile now. Not only does it look beautiful but they have Sea World!
I call my own shots, largely based on an accumulation of data, and everyone knows it.

We get a ton of humidity here in MA too. That's a famous saying here too. It's not the heat that'll get ya, it's the humidity! I think we get the extremes of both heat and cold here in MA, only our summers are really short and our winters are really long.

Highs in the mid 70s this week in Corpus Christi - tough winter there.

You bastard! It just stopped snowing here about 15 minutes ago, we just got about an inch of snow just this morning. However, it's supposed to warm up this coming weekend and week and be in the 30s, 40s and 50s, which is really not too bad for this part of the country in January, so I'm not complaining. I'll take it!

Re: Would You Take a Free Trip to Paris?

What Andy said. I've been to Paris 6 or 7 times. Too much just ain't enough. The only truly rude person I've encountered was an old bat working at the pay toilet in the Gare du Nord. The food, the culture, the architecture, the beauty of the city and the history are more than enough reasons to return to return to Paris again and again.

I was in Lyon on 9/11 having just left Paris on 8 September and I returned to Paris about 10 days later. I will never forget the overwhelming expression of support for the US and the kindness shown by the French, especially in Paris.
