Naw, man. I'm like freaking Thelma and Louise. I'd drive around Texas before I drove through it. *shudder*

No thanks. If it's Paris, Texas, you can keep the trip. I'd rather stay home and clip my husband's toenails.

    What's so wrong with Texas?

Surely Dallas or San Antonio must have something to offer at the very least.

I'd go to Texas. It's not Massachusetts.

    Exactly. It's someplace new!

I've never been to Texas before. I'm sure there's plenty of new things to see and do there.

I've never been either, I just know it's warmer than Massachusetts.

Yea... It's warm alright. A lot of it is desert, which might honestly even be a little bit too warm.

My first day in Kuwait, I honestly thought that I might die.

I was born in Texas so it can't be all bad. And I'll take a free (presumably all expenses paid) trip to either one. I'd prefer to go to Amsterdam in the summer on somebody else's nickel but the rules is the rules.

So, is there a catch or not? Hello OP. Where are you?

Bad memories of living in Texas. Very bad.

I guess the OP didn't get the response he was looking for and abandoned the thread.

    What's your answer, and why?
I'm not a huge fan of France, but for FREE? I'd snap that up in a heartbeat.

May I ask where this question came from? Were you offered it?
