Also I doubt this will take Christie down. They have the Emails. So there is no paper trail to him. They would have to come up with something else.

Christie didn't sit back and let it go unanswered. He says he didn't know. So far the emails show that.

I couldn't agree more. But here's the twist:

What happens if criminal charges are laid upon her? Is that something that Christie can control too?
No men are anywhere, and Im allowed to go in, because Im the owner of the pageant and therefore Im inspecting it, Trump said... Is everyone OK? You know, theyre standing there with no clothes. Is everybody OK? And you see these incredible looking women, and so I sort of get away with things like that.

After his scalding rebuke of her today, WOULD he even TRY to control criminal charges against her?

What about whoever hacked the email accounts? Assuming they were hacked.

Of course not. This story will likely have very little effect come election time. American voters also have notoriously short memories, especially when a candidate also possesses charisma as Christie does.

Adding "-gate" to ever scandal is really getting old.

I can't say I agree about either voters' short memories or Christie's charisma. He can be very abrasive and brutish.

    I Don't Know
Christie is telling the truth, and no one cares.

He'll be doomed in the general election for 2016 POTUS because of his anti-union stance, not because of this.

It's kinda stupid too....as if every scandal is somehow like the Watergate scandal...at least I think that's the reason for it...

Christie seems to have that every-man, tell it like it is appeal. I'd certainly label it as charisma, although many may find it off-putting. As for voters short memories, I don't think one could point to a better example than the drastic swings in polling data we've witnessed during and immediately after the recent federal shutdown. The doom and gloom predictions that were made during lasted all of a few weeks. An individual with Christie's clout should overcome this with ease, barring significant and new discoveries as to his direct involvement.
