Politically Correct America gets outraged over almost anything.

I could care less what the masses are outraged over.

The US being best buds with the most theocratic and a country with one of the worst human rights records is despicable.

Why not? Every other power thinks it is decent and just. If it is a bit of a myth, so be it. The only thing you can guarantee is that the powerful and their allies think they are good and just, while tier enemies or neutral parties will argue differently. Then on the flip side the latter will argue they are good and just and the powerful are tyrants or hubristic.

I happen to think we are a good-natured power, but I won't decry the U.S.'s actions when others would do the same in the same position or who already do the same.
