When I was a kid (7 or 10) in USSR, under communism, I remember there was a giant Christmas tree every year in the main public square, and hundreds of kids gathered around it, and they were giving away presents on stage. I remember I was very excited to come up on stage and receive a present....Interestingly after coming to America, the buzz I hear is that America is the Christian nation, while USSR was some sort of anti religious nation, so this is very strange. What did Americans have for Christmas this season in times square? I'm not sure but I think it was lady kaka or the tongue wielding Disney star Miley Cyrus?

As I've posted to you on another of your threads, good luck finding a country that satisfies you.

Public displays are not necessarily a sound foundation for judgement.

So you measure your religion by public displays of Santa Claus, elves, talking snowmen, and genetically mutated reindeer?

irrelevant question. USSR. WAS AN ATHEIST STATE

So pvsi spent his formative years in the USSR, eh?

Explains a lot.

Shortly after the formation of the Soviet Union, the local Orthodox Priests were forced to go before their town's people and tell them they lied. In China you can get your home bulldozed if you operate a non-state sanctioned prayer group or Bible study group out of it.

In contrast, in the United States if you are running for a major political office, good luck winning the election if you are not opening Christian.

Hot tip: You can't determine how Christian any person or group is by the size of the Christmas tree that they have.

If that's the way that you judge people's Christianity you need to do a lot of re-calibration because you are way off.

Right, but you can determine them by the type of people they are dealing with, right?

Hussein Obama and Bill Clinton to you too. As for anyone else, here is my biography to debunk any trolls and their attempts to paint me as a communist:

Real Christians have open, loving minds and are happy to deal with any type of people.

You're confused. We in the USSR had a New year tree. Not a Christmas tree

EXCEPT for the people they PROMISE to deal with to American voters in order to get elected:

Interestingly after coming to America, the buzz I hear is that America is the Christian nation, while USSR was some sort of anti religious nation, so this is very strange.
What you're seeing is the result of the Cold War. Up until its collapse, the USSR was America's biggest geo-political foe. We had nuclear missiles point at one another. Americans distrusted Russians, and Russians distrusted Americans. Therefore, the USSR was often described in harsh and pejorative terms. Guess what? Atheism is also offensive. God is equivalent to a religious persons' core identity. For theists, God is inextricably connected to their morality, worldview, spirituality, community, patriotism, etc.

So given that the Bolsheviks and the CPSU advocated for the separation of church and state, Americans labeled you all "godless commies" regardless if it was true or not.

I have all kinds of trees where I live, small trees, big trees., maple, pine, oak, birch etc. etc...

Ok, but do you have any doubt that the likes of Hillary Clinton, Bush and Obama all belong to the same club as communists of USSR? having lived under both systems, I have no doubt that both puppet circuses, like the demo republic rat circus in America was controlled by the same international bankers.

How many people have lived in the former soviet union and are able to compare it to the US? The same goes for China and Syria. Only people who have lived there are knowledgeable about such things.

In the former Soviet Union religion was hidden under a cloak of communism. All in all I think the US is the more Christian nation where it comes to having the greatest number of Christians living there but I do not know if that means that the country is living according to the teachings of Christ. I do know however that China, Syria and Russia also do not live up to the teachings of Christ either (from what I understand of Christs beliefs).

Do you think he feels better with his "Hussein Obama"?

How do you define a Christian nation?

There is no problem with tolerance because Barack Obama is a Christian.

I really have no clue, but I do not think it's America. Although if I would become an American leader (not the president, that's the puppet post), since I was born on December 25th, then America could be considered to be a Christian nation :)

Well that is too hilarious. Yes, Times Square proved the moral decline of the US as does about everything you see on tv and of course our war policy. But don't let that fool you, 80% of us claim to be Christian. :)
