No way would I support prosecution for failure to register for Selective Service. If a candidate wanted to bring it back, I probably would vote against them and even campaign for other candidates. Draft needs to include women if it has to exist or else I'd see it as unconstitutional.

And what is OP suggesting, anyway?- that since we do not fully enforce all of our laws we should
therefore enforce none of them? Since we aren't hunting down selective service system dodgers
we should therefore let OP drive that stupid souped-up testosterone substitute of his at 200 mph
in a school zone just as school is letting out?
Next time think before you post, OP.
I think it's easier to just sign these people up automatically. After all, the government knows where they are through their income taxes and employment, they know how old these people are, just have the government automatically sign them up and send their cards out in their tax information.
But, today, I'd question the need...for a "draft"...
