To a liberal blogger turned MSNBC contributor, I'm sure it is just too darned confusing.
That has to be the most frightening aspect of the whole debate. That an intelligent, supposedly, human being educated in the US system, have studied checks and balances and the concept of written law and courts to interpret them, would devalue the issue to one of understanding language written by Americans is asinine. I guess his education left out quotes from Ben Franklin from the same time that are clearly understood today without an interpreter, but legal scholars and law makers [those who don't bother to read either the constitution or the law their passing], cannot possibly grasp the meaning because its, what, now a foreign language?

I suggest this dolt proves his Ron Paul's point perfectly. Without a written constitution, incompetents like this would be running things.

    Wait.

    They are.

    Re: Ron Paul

I volunteered for Ron Paul. It was great. The amount of support and how he got young people into politics was a good thing. I was a die hard defender against the claims of racism too. That is until I found a video showing him speaking at a neo-confederates rally.

But Paul still had some good ideas. It's too bad Rand Paul is such a friggin' tool.

Yep, that's the one. I still supported him but it was quite crushing to find out his claims about no longer being a racist were not quite true.

To all, I would suggest reading "The Revolution: A Manifesto" by Ron Paul. It's a good read and it really defines his personal beliefs with solid rationalization.

    Please explain your selection!
I voted other, even though he is only one of two people to whose campaign I donated, so I'm happy to see that he is loved, and I see that all over the place. but I did not vote I love him, because when I think deeper, he did not have a full solution, I explain what I mean on the first paragraph of my web site

I like the guy, he is very likable and I do think that we need voices like his in congress. Just like on the other end of the spectrum we need voices like Bernie Sanders in the Senate. However, that all said, Ron Paul in my opinion is a perfect example of why libertarianism as a cult like belief never works. For all the time he spent in congress, he is probably one of the least effective legislators of the past century. Other than his audit the fed bill, I can't think of anything he ever actually accomplished. What other legislator with the following Ron Paul had, has been so ineffective?

He's a lovable genius/wingnut. I voted for him. He's one of the few politicians who seems like he might be a nice guy. Unlike most politicians who tell people what they wanna hear, he's willing to get booed.
