Impossible without an actual revolution... so... nobody.

I understand. But I do not think you are talking presently plausible policy. The time might come. But as long as the international field offers such mobility of capital, no country can act the way you propose.

Can't say that I see a need to liberate America from big money.

    No money = nothing else.

Would you rather use a currency of Double-Stuff Oreos instead!?

You could use the Mint flavor for foreign trade.

Ideally some big corporations will come to their senses and do the right thing. . . using the free market and long-term thinking.

Unfortunately, I don't think that'll happen. We'll probably just survive another millennia with the Proles scraping by on bread, while the corporations provide circuses on 167 channels.

I strongly suspect this is one of those situations where you don't kill the cancer without killing the patient. As it can (and already has been, successfully, whether you agree with it or not) that the first amendment prohibits the government from restricting political independent expenditures by corporations, associations, or labor unions, then you have to take big money as an integral part of our system and not simply an invader of it.

So I voted other. a)is a bad choice because libertarians and organizations like the Tea Party have completely impractical ideas on governance, and you can't do b)because the only way to thrive against your counterparts is to participate in the system you're trying to dismantle. And that other is either a variant of socialism (better but lightyears from ideal) and better yet a paradigm on governing that hasn't been discovered yet. I'll let everyone know when I find out what that is.
