Was Kennedy a traitor like Edward Snowden for speaking out against secresy?

US president John Kennedy was assassinated weeks after he gave speech against secrecy. Was he assassinated because he became a traitor to US by being against secrecy? will this thread be moved to a non political conspiracy theory section? I am aware that I could post links here to establishments sites such as CNN, MSNBC, PBS, etc. and that I can not post a link to a site which contains solution to this, but if anyone pm's me I will let you know. other than that, please stick to the topic, the question of the thread, and do not troll, do not stray.

That depends. Did Kennedy leak both intelligence gathering methodology to the press and swipe thousands of classified documents to use for his own purposes? No you say? If Snowden had merely spoke out against government secrecy he certainly wouldn't be a household name today.

JFK here calls for an open press, and makes the contrast between the USSR's and USA's governing.
Makes very good points on dissention, and calls for "transparency" of JFK's ( and by extension all POTUS).

So what is the big secret??

Nice name "intelligence gathering" - why don't they gather intelligence of their own instead of spying on people? I know JFK was against that as the video of him in OP reveals.

Intelligence gathering usually entails the involvement (unwittingly or not) of other people. Weird, I know.

Kennedy actively directed what resources were available to him at the time to spy on American citizens as well. You knew that right?

Kennedy stated he would break the CIA into a thousand pieces. He was angry at Allen Dulles and the Bay of Pigs embroglio. Interestingly, Dulles weaseled his way to head the Warren Commission. Many CIA papers relating to this are still classified. I've always thought Oswald was a CIA asset. There are just too many unanswered connections between the CIA and Kennedy's assassination. I don't trust the CIA. I don't believe the CIA is patriotic. The CIA runs drones, private contractors, some military units, many front agencies, and is allowed to create its' own black budget fund raising (like drugs and Contras and Iran).

If anyone is a traitor it is every single individual in the government who is doing the spying on American citizens and those who authorized it.
"A nation can survive its fools, and even the ambitious. But it cannot survive treason from within. An enemy at the gates is less formidable, for he is known and carries his banner openly. But the traitor moves amongst those within the gate freely, his sly whispers rustling through all the alleys, heard in the very halls of government itself. For the traitor appears not a traitor; he speaks in accents familiar to his victims, and he wears their face and their arguments, he appeals to the baseness that lies deep in the hearts of all men. He rots the soul of a nation, he works secretly and unknown in the night to undermine the pillars of the city, he infects the body politic so that it can no longer resist. A murder is less to fear"

Yea, check the Gospel of Youtube - I am sure that some crackpot dressed in camouflage has something posted.

BTW, it is secrecy, not secresy.
