Yes Ive asked a very similar question about 7 months ago in April or May and before that, about 24 months ago.
BUT in the last 7 months NINE states have granted equal rights to gays and allowed them to legally marry and DOMA fell.
In the last 24 months TWELVE states have granted equal rights to gays and allowed them to legally marry. DOMA falling was such a victory and stepping stone for equal rights just like i said it would be.

Connecticut - November 12, 2008

SO now after all this, Equal rights/Same Sex Marriage, how long until its a national reality?

after some voting comes in ill try to search for the other two similar polls and compare numbers.
