I don't have any interest in fighting with you either Henrin. In fact I find myself in agreement with you on many issues. Just not this one..

86 of the 160 have been cleared for release. That means they are no threat to anyone.

    Ah, yes.
I'll resist the urge to do a line-by-line reply to your post, much as I love phrases like 'undeserved clemency for the sake of scoring moral points' ' semblance of accolade' and 'rejoined in debate'.
I'll just say that you need to think more. Not just think that some words sound good because that guy always sounded good before. Think (it won't hurt for long).

Hence why I blame Rummy for screwing it all up. We had a chance to engineer that place to suit us. But, the Bush Admin refused to work with what we had and instead tried to shoehorn Iraq into some box that did not exist. Now it's a mess.

Gitmo is a symptom of that same thing just from another theater.

I'm sorry that functional literacy provokes your insecurities. It could be that, having been roundly trounced as per your 'content', your attention now strays to presentation.

I'll meet you halfway, dude, but I won't carry you. I'm not here to make your case for you. Once you discover some more cogent vehicle of expression than telling me I'm stupid, you might be relevant.

Here's to that unlikely event. *raises a glass*

You are so full of *(((*Y that I don't know where to begin. Did you forget that Bush went to Congress with "said intelligence" and all of the Democrat party agreed including Hillary a Senator at the time and John F-ing Kerry that we should invade Iraq on the intelligence we had at the time? Yet you blame Rumsfield? Cripe sakes you need a reality check.

It's not a matter of lowering or elevating. It's a matter of surviving. I prefer to eliminate the enemy before they eliminate me. They've sworn to do their best. I'm simply advocating we do our best to avoid the end they would prefer.
