Do you prefer to elect a fighter? or a compromiser?

Would you rather support a candidate who will really take on their opposition and stand up for the things you believe in?

Or would you rather have someone more diplomatic and working with the other party?

    Unsure/Other (Please explain)

    I voted for: a fighter.

I don't think - if people really thought about it - that they would care who is working together - if those who are working together are working together for what is not really in the best interest of the people.

A fighter that is why I think Pierre Trudeau was the greatest prime minster he got things done and didn't give a **** about what other people thought.

After that he declared martial law to stop the FLQ and he is also the man who created our Charter of Rights and Freedoms among many other things. He basically defined modern Canada and he was a Liberal to.

It's a little confusing, because liberals don't actually care about freedom.

IF is the biggest word in the English language, IF those who are working together....

I'd vote for someone smart enough to know when to fight and when to seek common ground. All or nothing tends heavily toward the nothing...

Well most Americans don't understand it as it does not have a right to bear arms (we traded it for the right to vote) and we have a reasonable limit clause. It is what Canadians wanted.

I want a candidate who will take on their opposition and stand up for the things I believe in.The last thing I want is my elected official caving and working with the other side on issues I oppose.
"A nation can survive its fools, and even the ambitious. But it cannot survive treason from within. An enemy at the gates is less formidable, for he is known and carries his banner openly. But the traitor moves amongst those within the gate freely, his sly whispers rustling through all the alleys, heard in the very halls of government itself. For the traitor appears not a traitor; he speaks in accents familiar to his victims, and he wears their face and their arguments, he appeals to the baseness that lies deep in the hearts of all men. He rots the soul of a nation, he works secretly and unknown in the night to undermine the pillars of the city, he infects the body politic so that it can no longer resist. A murder is less to fear"

    Cicero Marcus Tullius
