No, I would not want the devil to steal my soul

In the 2008 primary election, I was elected to be a member of my County's Republican Committee. Since nobody was running - neither the male nor female position to represent my district in my town on the County's Republican Committee. I didn't run in 2010 nor 2012, so my position has been vacant since.

This year I had done campaigning for some candidates for the State Legislature and also the U.S. Senate. Both phone calls and social networking. I had got blocked on Twitter by both a U.S. Senator, and also by a Democratic State Committeeman.

Good, then don't let him. Don't let it corrupt you and stick to your original reasons - if you ever do it.

But don't think it happens automatically.

Alright. So what sort of things do you like to do? What are some goals/interests of yours?

Bang a supermodel, built a rocket to Saturn, bending spoons with my mind, and figuring out the final digit to pi.

All of these are impossible except for the pi one.

No, the closest I came was being an elector for Ross Perot's Reform party in 1996 from Georgia. If Perot had taken Georgia I would have been one of those casting an electoral vote in the electoral college. Outside of that, I never had any desire to run for office, let other sell their souls to the big money crowd to get their campaign cash.
This Reform Party member thinks it is high past time that we start electing Americans to congress and the presidency who put America first and their political party further down the line. But for way too long we have been electing Republicans and Democrats who happen to be Americans instead of Americans who happen to be Republicans and Democrats.
