That is a bald-faced lie. Timothy McVeigh was a member of the Christian Identity Movement. Why did our media never call him a Christian terrorist?

Edit: OK, so his relationship with religion was complicated. But there is no question that he was a militant libertarian, perhaps even an anarchist. Read for yourself.

Timothy McVeigh is the embodiment of everything the radical libertarians stand for. Not all libertarians or Tea Partiers, mind you, but the worst of the worst.

However, I could be wrong that he would have loved the Tea Party. He might have thought that the Tea Party's peaceful demonstrations didn't go far enough, and hated them for that.

So the long and short of it is you don't know anything about it.

You seem to be struggling to discern the truth. Timothy McVeigh should be the icon of every white man who's ever wanted to overthrow the government of the United States of America.

For those of us who retain our sanity, he is an example of what horrors would happen if the anarchists ever chose to become terrorists.

Both..... Weather Underground acts but does so based on a wholely faulty philosophy. The Tea Party philosophy is much better (though not perfect) but they refuse to actually act for what they believe in.

Okay, when I first saw this I thought it was a joke. Then I knew it had to be sarcasm. But then another thought crossed my mind, perhaps this poll was to be used to find out those with very extremist views. If one voted for the tea party to be worse than the weathermen, weather underground, SDS or whatever you want to call them. Worse than an organization that would bomb and kill to get their political views across vs. one who operated within the framework of our political systems and has accomplished what it has accomplished with the will of the people and their votes. One organization that attempted change within the law and at the ballot box vs. the other who tried to force change via violence and destruction. So I think this poll say a lot about those who chose the tea party as worse than the SDS, weathermen or whatever. My opinion.
This Reform Party member thinks it is high past time that we start electing Americans to congress and the presidency who put America first and their political party further down the line. But for way too long we have been electing Republicans and Democrats who happen to be Americans instead of Americans who happen to be Republicans and Democrats.

How some have moved to the extreme left to call the Tea Party as a radical organization. It's really not.

The Tea Party movement is an American political movement that is primarily known for advocating a reduction in the U.S. national debt and federal budget deficit by reducing U.S. government spending and taxes.[1][2] The movement has been called partly conservative,[3] partly libertarian,[4] and partly populist.[5] It has sponsored protests and supported political candidates since 2009.[6][7][8]

The name is derived from the Boston Tea Party of 1773, an iconic event in American history.[9][10][11][12] Anti-tax protesters in the United States have often referred to the original Boston Tea Party for inspiration.[13][14][15] References to the Boston Tea Party were part of Tax Day protests held throughout the 1990s and earlier.[16][17][18][19] By 2001, a custom had developed among some conservative activists of mailing tea bags to legislators and other officials as a symbolic act.[20]

Since the Weather Underground is deader than Sarah Palin's credibility, I'd have to say the Mickey Mouse Club is more dangerous than they are.
