4 people above voted the Tea Party was more radical than the underground, it appears progressives support violence against its own people

Sure, in 2013 any one that believes in the constitution is radical.

The weather underground was a radical group. The tea party is a reactionary group. Apples, oranges.

I think the original one was far more centrist, and formed around the original ideals of the country. Mirror of the federalist papers in many aspects.

I don't understand how wishing to model the country off of it's original design is considered extreme.

I would suspect not. MSNBC told them. They 'lean forward', which means they are correct.

It has been proven he's a leftist sympathizer. The right wing rumors were media sensationalism. Nothing more.

Oh, on second look, I see you worded the question differently. You didn't ask who was more radical which is clearly the Weather Underground. They were fighting against the forces of the status quo. You asked which group was worse. Sorry my error.

Oh, it was radical. They wanted to fight against the British Crown which was perceived as radical at the time.

Tea Party (originally) fights a globalist/progressive agenda which is hellbent on the dismantling of our founding ideologies and structure. They are a scourge on this country (and planet), and I would love nothing more than to buy them all one way tickets to a western european utopia. I think they have no place here, as they despise the very foundation of which this country was founded. The sooner they are alienated, the better IMO. Personally, I would never befriend one. Democrats, sure, I like healthy debate, but Progs are disgusting. I hold them in the same light as nazis, and a few financial backers of their cause were in fact nazi collaborators during the war (cough soros cough). They still hold them in high regard as well. Despicable.

For this, I'd say the original Tea Party mission was one of great value. Not sure what it is anymore, but the preservation of the country and constitution is hardly radical. It's commendable.

Of course the complete irony is if the original Boston Tea Party did what they did in today's political environment, the Tea Party of today would have probably called them thugs for destroying a multinational's product. The corporate owned media would have had a hay day with it They are socialist against free trade
