Of course not. So why are you writing about "some members of the Tea Party?"

Because I don't like the direction that they would like to take the USA in.

Tea Party combines intelligent and kind people who want to benefit the own country by the Constitutional way. In Weser underground was smelly ferrets who killed police officers. And anyway, there are many pinheads who think they are better than conservative citizens who want to save the country. Very sad.
Huh? You're not making a whole lot of sense here.

I couldn't answer the poll because there wasn't a "none of the above" choice. That would have been my choice for a couple of reasons.

    1. There is no Weather Underground. They are defunct. Your comparison is like asking which is worse...The LaRouche Campaign (also defunct) or the Tea Party.

    2. The Tea Party is not "radical" and they are not "fringe".

They're lunatic fringe, radical right nutjobs, in my opinion. They might yet become dangerous but the name, 'tea party' is so ambiguous they'll be easy to disown. That loophole has already come in handy.

Well, you are certainly free to your own hyperbolic opinion of the Tea Party, but I would hardly think any sane person would place them in with the likes of The Weathermen, who were, indeed, radical and fringe.

You know, now that I think about it, a much better comparison would be The Weathermen and The LaRouche Campaign...except that the LaRouche group were a Democrat-loving, ultra-left group and you are probably not interested in such a comparison.

For one thing, the Weather Underground is defunct and, therefore, irrelevant. It's like asking if the Southern Poverty Law Center is worse than the House Unamerican Activities Committee. There is no right answer. Have you stopped beating your wife?

You do know, don't you, that the post you made that characterized the Tea Party as "...lunatic fringe, radical right nutjobs, in my opinion." was in response to my first post in this thread which said exactly the same thing...that The Weather Underground were defunct.

So tell me something else, Captain Obvious.

    LOL!!

    And why ?

The "center" is forever shifting...The only thing that should be radical is the 1% positions (extremism).....left and right...
