I am not against the Tea Party, but I am opposed to the reactionary ideas that some of its members would like to put in place.
Do you agree with all the members of the Democratic Party?

If it's just about ideologies, then the fact that The Weather Underground engaged in bombings shouldn't matter.

Choosing a 40-year-old terrorist group to compare the Tea Party to was a transparent attempt to make them look better by comparison and nothing more. You could just as easily replace the Weather Underground in that comparison with Hitler, cancer, dogs crapping on your front lawn, Hurricane Katrina, or the ebola virus and achieve the same result. And the comparisons would be just about as silly.

There are two novels that can change a bookish fourteen-year old's life: The Lord of the Rings and Atlas Shrugged. One is a childish fantasy that often engenders a lifelong obsession with its unbelievable heroes, leading to an emotionally stunted, socially crippled adulthood, unable to deal with the real world. The other, of course, involves orcs.... John Rogers

How can you see yourself on the Poll, some forum members think, the Tea Party, the worst then terrorist organization.

Tea Party combines intelligent and kind people who want to benefit the own country by the Constitutional way. In Weser underground was smelly ferrets who killed police officers. And anyway, there are many pinheads who think they are better than conservative citizens who want to save the country. Very sad.

Yes, it is radical to speak out against the US government. Putting violence tactics aside, (which is obviously radical in any situation) even people who peacefully condemn the US government for its acts of terrorism is perceived as radical because it is not mainstream. While this may be more common in other countries it is not at all here. So, often people in group two or lumped in with group one and therefore the message gets lost. It's a tactic called Ad Hominem. So, it's not really fair to compare the two groups based on "ideology" presuming both are speaking out against the US government. Let's face it, the Tea Party's beef with government has absolutely nothing at all to do with the underpinning dislike for government the Underground Weathermen acted out inappropriately against. Many people who were angered about the Vietnam War didn't blow up government buildings to prove an important point.

Thank you for your non-partisan view on that.

The tea party isn't really some radical fringe group. They're just a propaganda party for the GOP.
