What if Hillary Clinton doesn't run?

Every now and then the media will do a story on Mrs. Clinton being undecided on whether to run for POTUS in 2016. I personally think she will. The recent Air Force 1 passenger list to South Africa for Mandela's memorial service; President and Mrs. Bush, President and Mrs. Obama and Hillary Clinton by herself as President Clinton decided to take Southwest Air from LaGuardiaa, was strategic posturing for media reporting to signal she's got next only possible if she would not have been over-shadowed by Bill Clinton. However, she will be going on will 70 in 2016 and associated health issues.

That all said, it dawned on me that if she doesn't run in 2016 the democrats are likely up a creek with no paddle. Who do you think would be the democrat nominee if she decides not to run?

    Joe Biden.

In which case, if the Republicans or Independents don't find a half way decent candidate, then I see a whole lot of troubled water ahead.

IMHO it'll be a toss up between John Kerry and Joe Biden.

3 years before 2008, nobody predicted Obama.

So who knows... It could be anyone.

And both make me need to take Pepto Bismal.

If we weren't already on a train headed south, we sure would be if either one of them got elected.

God, what a sorry lot the Democrats have on the "bench" waiting for Hillary to falter. And she's about as welcome as a bad case of the runs while on vacation.

America truly is a nation on the decline if this is all you've got to offer in the way of leadership.

No really.... who would be a good candidate? Hillary NOT running is as near an impossibility as I think one can get, baring some illness or other life threatening circumstance. Kerry could be an option but a very long shot (best case) and Biden would be just too hilarious --- the guy has one of the most acute forms of foot in mouth disease ever seen. He may play in Delaware or possibly even small pockets of PA as well as the nutty districts where gerrymandering allows nuts like Mosley-Brown and Pelosi to be re-elected, but that's about it. I think it's Hillary or nothing unless an unknown jumps in the ring and makes a run.
I think if Thomas Jefferson were looking down, the author of the Bill of Rights, on whats being proposed here, hed agree with it. He would agree that the First Amendment cannot be absolute. - Chuck Schumer (D). Yet, Madison and Mason wrote the Bill of Rights, according to Sheila Jackson Lee, 400 years ago.

Actually, at the 2004 Democrat convention, before and definitely immediately after, Democrats and their lackies in the media were proclaiming Obama the messiah and future President. Perhaps they didn't think he was so anxious to ruin the country by running in 2008, but they fully expected his run for his rightful place on the throne.

For Hillary not to run, there would have to be a destructive fire at the polyester pant suit factor she keeps in business.
