Does anyone agree that today's american politics is similar to a Rorscahach test, That one picture or event can be interpreted differently depending on the individual person?

Well it is a failure no matter what way you look at it so, no.

I don't think it is that simple.

When given a subject to discuss or create policy on, like raising taxes or cutting entitlements, People have different perspectives of the situation even though they are presented the same facts and creating different reactions to those facts. thats how a Rorschach test works in theory, one image can be interprated a thousand different ways.

You betcha. You see it on this site all the time. When something happens or a law is passed you may think it good and I bad or vice versa. I may think if A is done it will lead to B and you C or perhaps some think it will lead to nothing.

No. Rather than looking it at it as a huge interconnected blob, it can be split into portions. The job of a systems analyst is to break complex problems/systems into ever smaller manageable portions so that nearly anyone can solve the separate simple problems.

i was trying to ask if Ones understanding of politics is all do to perspective, and the only metaphor i could think of was a rorschach test.

Nope.

It is either like solving a riddle
Or like removing your penis with a cheese grater

Of course. Everyone looks at a political issue, and then comes up with their own interpretation. Some people think that anyone with a different interpretation must just be obtuse.

Oh, and your picture clearly shows two big eared predators, no doubt representing the Democrats and Republicans, with their prey in between them being consumed, no doubt representing the people who elected them. Surely, anyone with a different interpretation must just be obtuse.

I see a Republican elephant head facing me with side-profiles of democrat donkey heads for ears. Yup, that looks like American politics to me.

I saw an orc from Lord of the Rings.
