The man doing the firing probably does NOT HATE you.....and even if he does....
    He is doing his job.
We send out Christmas cards as an act of love.
That is the way it is supposed to be.
One never knows, that same man may go to another place and he could hire you.
    Do not burn bridges
    Stay on good terms..
    To add...
Having read the latest letter, I'd say that you, sir, need help.....
This from a man who has been thru the mill of lay-offs, firings, and resignations...25 times or so...

I have been working at the same place for 29 months since I left that job. I still haven't been written up or even threatened with it.

These people were trigger happy. I was too trusting in my abilities. I never even attempted to defend myself. If I would have known they loved to fire people I could have survived several more years. I supposed I was over confident and too trusting. My life was very good in all aspects up until that point. I have lead a very sheltered life. My childhood was amazing. Every employer I ever worked for treated me like a king. Ever organization I was a part of treated me like a hero. This was my first bout of real life. It was severely traumatic. The emotional trauma that it caused me exceeded the tragedy of death or break-ups that I had been through in the past.

    I'll elaborate more later.
I had a similar experience. Every employer I've ever had has loved me, hated the day I left...save one, who "fired" me, though, I consider telling my boss to go **** himself till he bleeds as being my formal resignation. There are bad employers out there, especially in the sales and marketing sectors. Dust off, and plow on. Who gives a **** if they think you stink? All that matters is that your current employer values you, and that YOU know your worth.

I've read every quote on the thread. You've received great advice and genuine interest and caring. I wouldn't send the letter/Xmas card or whatever. It's behind you and you should leave it there. If you just want to make those old employers feel uncomfortable, that's another story. I don't get that impression. Your successful introspection is its' own reward.

It's better to have friends than enemies.

Imo, no, it's not a good idea. It appears that you are trying to stay embroiled in a petty fight, and trying to manipulate the way others view you. Let bygones be bygones.

Dude, you really need to find a way to get over your firing. You've started several threads about something that's happened over a year ago.
