A lot more congressional oversight for one. And I don't believe the full ramifications of Snowden's actions are yet to be realized.

In other words, congress critters are babbling about it (as they did for Solyndra, the IRS, fast & fuzzy and Benghazi) but you hope for change.

False. We knew the NSA was collecting meta data from all over the country and involving numbers in other countries. Maybe you were not so informed and up to date on this at the time, and so you have been fooled into getting in line to praise Snowden. I can see you're a Snowden fanboy, so I wouldn't be surprised if you were ignorant of what I've just noted or simply forgot about it so that you could swoon over your hero.

The word was already out. The only wake up call is for fans of Snowden, and it's servicing morning glory. Nothing has changed, because (as everyone already knew) collecting meta data is constitutional.

Sure, we can get all riled up for our boy Snowden. We can service him to our hearts content. OR we can be real and stop with the teenager-like worship of the adult's version of Twilight.

In other words, you got nothing. Why? Because only suckers give a crap about Snowden the traitor.

You know what? As soon as this goes away, like Wikileaks and Manning, some other attention whore is gonna bust chain of command to tell you something that you already know. Will you be a cheerleader once again? I bet so. That'll be funny. I wonder how many times you'll be suckered into that.

So is the entire federal department of education but that is accepted as well.

People gotta have their poster boy for "stick it to the government". It doesn't matter that we already knew everything he released. It doesn't matter that he broke chain of command. All that matters to some people is that they have a new poster boy that they can drool over and tell everyone he's their boyfriend. As soon as this one is gone, a distant memory, there will be another scumbag trying to be their poster boy. They will accept him and praise him.

Ya know what I'm looking forward to? The Russian poster boy. When Putin executes him in the street, we'll see what the fanboies think about Putin's support of "whistleblowers".

Wait--you don't have faith in the new-and-improved Putin?

It's a big bandwagon but not my style.
