Well, as tempting as picking Iran v America and/or a coalition of Arab states is, I think we're looking at a more protracted strategic campaign of subtle tit for tat for regional influence there. I would say the most explosive place for a major war would be Asia. Whether it's Japan v China over the East China Sea, or North and South Korea getting into it (possibly pulling in Japan and the US and China), or China v several South East Asian countries (e.g. Vietnam, Philippines, Taiwan, etc.).

Finding a major war in the Middle East is like finding a needle in a haystack. If there is ever a major war in the Middle East it could very easily be overlooked. Too many wars already going on in that part of the world. I didn't vote for this geographic area. I'm a little disappointed that so many people did.

Could simply encompass the entire globe if WWIII happens. Hopefully, that doesn't happen.

    The USA.

It will be the country's Second Civil War.

Unlike the USA's first Civil War, this one will be far more destructive, because it will be fought in accordance with multi-issue, concurrent and ideological — not single-issue, random and say, racial — lines.

"Brother against brother", the adage used whimsically in American history books to describe the chilling nature of the country's first Civil War, will not compare to the horror(s) of its second, which can be spun any way — brother against sister; preacher against preacher; Asian against Black; plumber against federal judge; Hispanic against Pacific Islander; smug, apathetic MSNBC bobblehead who's never gotten any dirt under his fingernails against smug, apathetic Fox News bobblehead who's never once owned a used car — imaginable.

At least one nuclear weapon may be deployed, either by one of the many sides fighting the war, or by a foreign nation with interests hostile to those of the (once, i.e. prior to the War's onset) sovereign U.S. which understands the importance of opportunistic exploitation of the social cleavages driving the war.

It will ultimately reduce the USA to a third-world country, decimating at least 7/10ths of the country's population.

I expect that The Fourth Reich will likely rise from the War's smoke and ashes.

I think the Middle East. It seems to be where a lot of the conflict goes on. Africa too.

then you are a hypocrite and everything you say on the matter is just babble.

... or like finding a quality post by you that's at least mildly entertaining.

This sounds like a self-published novel on Amazon.
