Thinking is one thing. Organizing an Army with Christians willing to kill is a thing of the past. Liking your religion enough to say a special prayer is not the same as being obsessed with your religion enough to kill for God.

I just don't see enough Christians signing up to fight the Crusades. Most Christians would convert to Islam before they would give up their I-Pod, facebook, hybrid cars, Walmart and their cell phones. Being dedicated enough to like someone's facebook page is a long ways from fighting a war.

I give your post two giggles and a great big yawn.

Hmmm. So they would expect to find you on the other side of the line? Hey, who knows.

I give your post...nothing. Not worth it.

I'll surrender in 3 seconds. I'm not fighting for anybody. Just let me live. Change the religion, the philosophy, the government, the flavor of potato casserole or whatever you need to change. I prefer to live. I'll deal with the changes. Just let me know which god to pray to and which direction to face when I pray. I'll do it.

I'm surprise your confused, given what appears to be your thorough knowledge of Christians. Good luck!

Maybe it's California's turn. This is one of only a very few places on Earth where there never has been a war, unless, of course, you count the Watts riots of the '60s.
Have you forgotten about the civil war?

As we all know, unfortunately, peace can't last forever -- it's just a fact of human existence. So, my poll today: Where will the next major war be, and who will be involved?

There are plenty of trouble spots around, and as we all know from history, little actions can have big consequences. To my mind, there are a few probable places:

The Middle-East: Everyone's perennial favourite, the Syria-Iran-Israel-Palestine-Egypt-Lebanon cluster**** has been tense with the Syrian Civil War, not to other provocations on all sides, like the Egyptian coup d'etat, Israeli illegal settlements, Palestinian rockets, Iranian nuclear capabilities, etc.

South-Central Asia: Bill Clinton once said that the scariest thing he ever found out during his time in office was exactly how close India and Pakistan are to thermonuclear war. Throw in some drones, a large terrorist network, and nearby unstable Afghanistan, and this one could be a winner.

North-Central Africa: With NATO's toppling of Libya, and France's recent invasions of Mali and the Central African Republic in a single year, combined with appalling socio-economic conditions and plenty of Christian and Islamic terrorist militias, this region could become a battleground sucking in nearby Somalia to boot.

Korean Peninsula: The Korean War ain't over in the eyes of the North, no matter what geopolitics says. With one of the world's largest build-ups of artillery only 30 km from Seoul, North and South Korea are as tense as ever. With US military drawdowns worldwide, let's hope the North doesn't decide now's the time to strike.

South China Sea: An absolutely ascendant China may wish to finally get rid of the thorn in its side that is Taiwan -- the only thing standing in its way is the US 7th Fleet. Let's hope it stays there, or we could have another Chinese civil war on our hands.

Latin America: With the cartels running rampant and the Mexican government fluctuating in capabilities, causing more foreign and local deaths only miles from the American border, this hotspot could erupt if the right (wrong?) foreigners are caught up in it.

Or, from out of the blue, Spain could invade Gibraltar, causing Britain to declare war on Madrid and seize it, starting the third installment of the British Empire -- Portugal, look out, you're next!

What do you guys think? How will it start, who will be involved, and how will it end?
Other: I think the Corporate New World Order will profit handsomely from better planned wars, for instance, making sure there are lots of troops, planes, trains, tanks, trucks, and energy powered equipment that uses itself up and expends lots of energy doing same. This is also good for the Military/Industrial/Corporate complex. Good profit for energy Corporations and bankers. The Nukes are not good for the Corprorate New World Order because of massive devastation, but the infrastructure construction companies gotta like that. Think Haliburton, B &W, Bechtel, etc. Ground wars are definitely the most profitable, ergo next war will certainly be a ground war and not on Corporate New World Order ground, and that should narrow the number of ground battlefields substantially. Don't you think? Africa presents the greatest resource potential for profit, so I say Africa.

Sarcastic? Serious? Tones go unheard in printed text. I'm not sure what you mean. I have a thorough knowledge of Americans. The ones who want lower taxes, higher spending and a balanced budget. Most of these Americans are "Christian".

I am not sure what you were trying to say. Your "Good luck!" comment at the end tells me that you have abandoned the conversation. If that's the case. I'm sorry for responding. I was unclear what you intended to say with your last post.
