What? Afraid of being judged by someone who doesn't agree with you? What kind of intellectual coward are you.

If you think my not being a Christian make what I have to say any less true, you really should get back to your group-think hole. There be free thinkers here, hide the children.

Too scared to lock horns with me? C'mon, stand up for your scripture, put em up!

This is why I said you missed some of the Old Testament. I'm guessing you've never read Leviticus or Deuteronomy. If you have, you would not think them part of scripture God would give to his aforementioned "chosen people", or any pure people.

If you're going to make me quote your book, and make you look like a fool, please say so, It would be a pleasure. But first I need you to say that you are certain that it is "The infallible word of our god, and the ultimate source for morality." Then the trap is set... You can even limit my scope to discrediting the new testament, if you think me unprepared for such a debate.

Oh and do go back to my last post, it seems you got to it before I made a few edits.

Rabid. Like he isn't all together mentally stable. Like he's an idiot.

The guy goes looking for trouble, wandering the halls of that cult, and then attempts to start up a debate with the cult leader. Who does something like that other than an idiot? When the cult leader says something slightly off key he starts talking about how science is so great because it is flexible enough to change. It's like he's found something to debate and starts subconciously salivating. It's disgusting. He should go back to nerd school and leave the cultists alone. Maybe they'll decide to swallow some punch and leave this world a better place.

I don't like to get into the teachings of the Bible becasue to be honest with you I am not that versed on them and I don't think any atheist is either.......That said I know very well what is a sin and what is not in the eyes of God.............

I think we will find out who is right when we meet our maker on judgment day....

I assure you he is quite mentally stable, in fact he holds the Charles Simonyi Chair in the Public Understanding of Science at the University of Oxford.

    1. He was filming a documentary called "The Root of All Evil?"
    2. Ted Haggard was the pastor at that mega-church, and was the Chairman for the National Association of Evangelicals. He was a mainstream Chrisitan who had a phone call w/ Bush on a weekly basis. But if you want to call Evangelical Christianity a cult, I'm not going to disagree with you.
    3. He also addressed an Islamic Fundamentalist in that documentary.

Someone who wants to show people what 44% of our electorate actually believes does something like that. Its very relevant.

Nerd school? If you mean Oxford, you have definitely displayed your level of maturity and scientific understanding.

Why do you keep calling Christians cultists? I would love to hear your arguments for this...

Is that your way of saying you don't have to defend the scientific errors, historical misrepresentations, contradictions and outright impossibilities that I'm pointing out?

Any atheist? My disbelief presupposes a misunderstanding? How about those ex-believers, biblical scholars, and former ministers?

Do you think them not to be "well versed" in the bible?

And you know this how? If not the bible, do you maintain that it is the infallible word of god?

Christ's apostles thought the same thing, only they thought said day would occur in the lifetime of their generation of Christians.

    Re: Religions of HATE!

Oxford? Is that the school they send all the wealthy inbred children on that Island off the coast of Europe? I guess if you had the misfortune of being born there Oxford might be something to aspire to. Though I doubt you could unless you were born to the right family.

Cult? Well. People who get together, turn off their brain, close their eyes, get on their knees, start chanting, and claim they sky fairies talk to them I often think of as cultist. Others attempt to label them into more precise categories. Like Christians, Catholics, Islamists, but really, why bother. It's not like I really care if by lumping them all together I offend their "sensibilities"!

Since you know Navy: Is eating a shrimp cocktain before dinner still considered a sin in the eyes of God?

There are schools and there are schools. Harvard, Yale, Columbia, Oxford are 2nd tier schools meant for kids of rich parents. They turn out the leaders of the market place. Then there are the 2nd tier schools for the smart kids. The UC system and a few others like it. The first rate schools are MIT, Stanford, and the Cal Techs of the world. Everybody who's honest with themselves know this.

Not that schooling helps much in the real world. It's a start though. This guy had all the short comings of a typical weenie from England. I'm kind of glad the cult leader called the cops on him. Too bad he didn't have a shot gun. Well, the two actually need each other. They feed off each other. Makes good story for the mass media channels.
