Shhh, I think I'm sensing one of the spin-cycles being turned on high right now
...and his observation at this point!

My teachings are easy to understand
and easy to put into practice.
Yet your intellect will never grasp them,
and if you try to practice them, you'll fail.

It doesn't have anything to do with that fact, only the "brilliance."

Ghandi took on a sovereign nation, an empire, an enemy bold enough to stand against you on a battlefield.

What we are facing is far more devious, guerrilla, and cowardly. Forgive me if if I found myself unimpressed with your parallel. Pacifism isn't the answer.
What about just minding your own business?

I don't speak for bbb, but it doesn't. It's just as inherently stupid and wrong.

Then would relate to now as in showing how the mentalities between the two are identical - intolerance and self-righteousness.
But let's not loose sight here. These ****ing idiots are using religion not religion preaching to them. They are using religion, perverting it to control for their own political gains. Nothing more.

    Re: Religions of HATE!

    You know, it's funny.

Throughout this thread you can tell who the prejudiced are towards Christianity. They bash Christianity for what is stated in the Old Testament and then they Bash Christians for choosing not to follow it. Seems to me that Christians are going to get garbage thrown on them no matter what they do.

Isn't the role of America, with regards to religion, been to humanize the religions within our shores? Should Christians be criticized for choosing not to stone homosexuals and electing instead to follow the teachings of Jesus Christ? Should Christians be criticized for not finding a patch of dirt in America and declaring it holy by chaining God to it-making him nothing more than a brutal landlord? Should Christians be criticized for not carrying the 16th century blood shed between the sects (Catholics and Protestants) into the 21st century?

Using history as a map, it seems to me that we should be thankful that Christianity has had the ability to get back on the wagon when it has fallen off. Instead of being a part of the audience in front of Islam's 14 century strife, we could all be immersed in Christianity's dark side along with them. But we are not.

Sorry Christians. It doesn't matter how hard you strive to rejuvinate the religion and maintain it as a vision from Jesus Christ you will always be crapped on for a few versus in the Old Testament.

Its a public debate forum, and that discussion has been long since resolved. Whats YOUR problem?
Haymarket's "support" of the 2nd Amendment, a right he believes we never had.

Don't be silly. I applaud Christians who have the courage to openly question their religion and discard practices which are outdated for today's morally advanced culture. What I take issue with are Christians that continue to think their Bible is perfect...they just don't have to follow some parts of it cause they have somehow twisted Jesus' words around to say the opposite of what he meant.

I guess all these good ole U.S. Christians who have slaughtered hundreds of thousands of innocent Iraqis, for no reason, still have no problem proclaiming their faith to everyone.
