What nipple? I didn't see one. No big deal here.
Spoken like a true biker. The whole world isn't Sturgis you know.

So you admit it was marketing. An attempt to sell papers not enlighten people on breast cancer. We agree.
True, it didn't even really show the nipple, just the areola. Big deal.
I had to Goggle that.

I was referring to the newspaper not the thread . The newspaper did not need to show the areola . I'm not even talking about children reading the newspaper since Most children don't even other to read the newspaper in the first place . It distracts peoples attention from the issue. Where did your eyes wander towards the scar or the areola ?Agreed! This is outrageous!
And where are the mods????? Mods, we've got a link to areola slivers here!!!! I demand you remove it and ban the poster! My God, take the link down before an innocent child accidentally clicks on it! Why, the poor child might get the impression adult women have nipples!!!

I disagree. If anything, if people buy it because of the areola (which would be pretty sad - LOL!), then who cares as long as they read the article and get educated? That is the point.
the point is, those sad people who would buy it because of the areola could care ****all about the article and probably wouldn't read it. sure, it might help sell more papers, but it ain't gonna do jack **** about getting out the message.
Well, that's not necessarily true. Some men might be like "ooo, an areola" and then buy and read and then maybe learn something.
you don't know men very well do you? :lamo
I just do not get it. This whole "OMG there is a hint of darker skin showing" hysteria just seems asinine to me, wow surprise surprise boys and girls, nipples on both sexes have darker skin around them. So sorry to bust your barbie doll image of female anatomy.

This picture was obviously on the front page of the New York Times. The article was about breast cancer. What do you think?
I had to Goggle that.
I didn't vote as I think the picture is fine, the breast is fine but the nipple is not fine... I mean, it is a fine looking nipple, just not front page material.
The picture doesn't offend me but the fact that you asked me if it is offensive offends me...
Here you can use these until you make up your ****ing mind:
A box of tissues later, do you know what an areola is? :2razz:
Seriously though, why do breasts and nipples have to be sexualised when presented in a non-sexual context. An article about breast cancer should be able to show a naked breast if it wants, because it's relevant to the topic. That most people can't see a bit of nipple without thinking sex speaks a lot about the maturity of American society.
That's Right! How can we be expected to forget such things as sinful n-----s exist, as Bible God requires of us, if the Eschew Pork Rinds put them on the front page!! Next thing ya know they will post a picture of a baby "pleasuring" a woman by sucking on her n----e!!! :censoredI didn't vote as I think the picture is fine, the breast is fine but the nipple is not fine...
