The health insurance industry WROTE IT.

Try again.

The health insurance industry wrote??? :lamo

You people really will say anythibg to cover for Dear Leader! And Libbos think everyone else is stupid...lol!

Apparently your definition of corporatist is exclusive. Do you think that socialists don't have corporate friends to repay?

Hitler was a Socialist that used private industry to control the country.

Um,one more time: "When was Obama ever a Socialist, except in some far right peoples minds?

The same people that haven't been able to win an election against him, BTW.

And again, read the thread. Its been answered several times. If you disagree with the answers, then post a rebuttal. Thats how debate works.

Read what I have already posted, I don't have time to waste on you.

So far youve posted "when was obama ever a socialist?" and "thats just ,like, your opinion...man" and "the same people havent been able to win and election" and "i have no time for you". WHich post exactly were you referring to that is a rebuttal of the points made by other people in this thread?

So? that's not socialism

If I come to you and say "I'm putting in a water well. Do you want to go in with me on it?", that's not socialism. If I come to you and say "I'm putting in a water well and you are paying for half", that IS socialism.

Soo the Dow hit a record high of 16,000 under this terrible "anti business, socialist" Obama.. Is he still a "socialist"?

He was never a socialist, he's a fascist.

Oh please. That's just stupid. That's not socialism.

My town had a vote on a parcel tax to pay for fire engines; it passed, but not by 100%. But we all have to pay the tax. That's not socialism; that's democracy.

"Socialism is an economic system characterised by social ownership of the means of production and co-operative management of the economy.[1] "Social ownership" may refer to cooperative enterprises, common ownership, state ownership, citizen ownership of equity, or any combination of these.[2] There are many varieties of socialism and there is no single definition encapsulating all of them.[3] They differ in the type of social ownership they advocate, the degree to which they rely on markets or planning, how management is to be organised within productive institutions, and the role of the state in constructing socialism.[4]"

Democracy is not exclusive of socialism.

He was never a socialist, he's a fascist.

I wouldnt call him a fascist. I would say he is a corporatist-capitalist (which corporatism is the economic system of fascism) but i would not call him a fascist.

When was Obama ever actually a Socialist (Except in some far right peoples minds.)?

When he took office. Next thing you know Glenn Beck, Limbaugh, and those "freedom fighters" in the Tea Party start throwing it out like its amazing.

Why would you equate the Dow to Obama not being a Socialist?
I thought socialists were anti-wall street, and not pro business.....

I think he is still very much a socialist, just not a happy one.
Not happy? He is using this as proof of "economic recovery"....

Does he still desire government control of the economy and the government to be used to shape social behavior? I think so.
:lamo

Is there a particular reason you used a graph that stops in 2008? Something happen after that that you don't want us to know about?

Its the graph i have on hand.

I wouldnt call him a fascist. I would say he is a corporatist-capitalist (which corporatism is the economic system of fascism) but i would not call him a fascist.

I would call him fascist not just because of his corporate capitalism (which Mussolini said is the hallmark of fascism) but also for his continued actions against the freedom and liberty of the People in favor of the power and scope of State.

The Republocrats in general have become a fascist party.

I think calling him a fascist is a bit draconian.

I think calling him a fascist is a bit draconian.

Republocrat rule in general is rather draconian. But Republocrat action is towards bigger government, infinity war, massive spying and data collection, etc.

If we're going to be honest then we need to admit this is exactly fascism. Everything for then state at the cost of the People. Propaganda through state defined patriotism and massive Big Brother government.

Youre free to try and convince us. If you have nothing less but ad hominems, then feel free leave.

I have no interest in convincing 'us' of anything. :0) NONE whatsoever.

If you don't already know the definition of socialism, it's just pointless conversation .. and I don't mind a bit of pointless conversation while I work.

Why would a socialist be anti-business? Somebody has to be around to do favors for them...
