My suspicion would be that she used contraceptives because she was sexually active.

Now, how you and Rush Limbaugh spin that into frequent, random, indiscriminate, casual sex (which is to say, "promiscuous" sex) is beyond me.

You realize, I hope, that it's perfectly possible for a woman to have sex with a single partner, right?

And the fact that she's using contraceptives is in no way indicative of a promiscuous lifestyle?

Agreed - what makes it questionable is the need to have the government or someone else pay for your contraceptive needs.

She spoke about herself, not being able to get free contraceptives under the Georgetown University Student Health Insurance Plan because the University that, being a Catholic institution, did not support contraception as a matter of religious doctrine, did not include them in their plans.

When she got rightly called out on it, she changed her story, conveniently.
Do you have a link?

My opinion as well as many people. Please note those cloture motions began in the beginning, so it has nothing to do with him being a capable President, which he is by the way. It has be documented that several Republicans met to take Obama down.

Robert Draper Book: GOP's Anti-Obama Campaign Started Night Of Inauguration

Show me Democratic politicians conspiring to take down a president then you have something.
Your premise is astoundingly asinine... and not even worthy of comment other than to point out how totally partisan and puerile it is - as if to suggest Democrats don't conspire at all, don't sit down in meeting after meeting to figure out how to oust ANY Republican, let alone that they never did it for Bush.

It doesn't even pass the laugh test, being so thoroughly and transparently disingenuous as it is.

:rofl - but I gotta give you kudos for the sheer audacity of the attempt. :applaud

And frankly (I know I'm going to regret this but...), what in the wide, wide world of sports is remotely wrong with Republicans "conspiring" to take down Obama? Seriously, what's wrong with that - especially since virtually EVERY Republican with an ounce of respect for this country has been doing it since his election? Tell me, what's wrong with that? Does it hurt the liberal psyche somehow that people dare oppose them? What? Dare I ask, are you suggesting that opposition to Obama is somehow illegal? If so, this oughta be really, really good...

Fire his sorry ass. If Bill O'Reilly tried the same nonsense - I would insist he be fired also.

Bashar crossed the line and was horribly offensive. He tried to come up with a clever way to insult Palin but he went way way way over the line in doing it.

I tried to get the video clip and/or transcripts of her presentation to the National Press Club in February 2012, however, they NPC has deleted any reference to it.
Uh oh, no link. You know that that means. ;)

It means I've stooped to the level of my accusers?
LOL - no, not that, just that now they are free to impugn your statement rather than have to fabricate something that impugns it. :)

Please show me where the Democrats have conspired to take down Republicans other than at the ballot box? Perhaps I'm naive, but I know of no time where the the present Democratic party tried this. Gee, when the Democrats felt that President Bush lied us into a war in Iraq, there was no effort to impeach him, yet the Republicans impeached President Clinton because he lied about a personal affair. And of course today we have some Republicans wanting to impeach President Obama because of his comments regarding Obamacare. Perhaps you're one of them? Basically, Republicans are authoritarians, the Democrats are not.

For some reason I thought the reason the U..S. Constitution broke the states into congressional districts and gave each state two Senators, was to serve the people and not political parties? Am I wrong with that notion?

You can't be serious. Dennis Kusinich made a run for the Democrat Presidential nomination on the basis of impeaching Bush. And Democrats tried to get the World Court to charge Bush with war and other crimes.

You really need to step away from the MoveOn website and take a breather occasionally.

Yeah, very true. Even our military is buying the boots they wear from China. Yep, that is another aspect to think about.
That is false. All equipment used and/or issued to the US military is made in the USA. It's Federal policy.

So you say, when I was at Ft. McPherson the boots were made in china. There was talk about them making our uniforms too. I am retired now so I don't know how that worked out, but it wouldn't surprise me.

LOL - my sentiments exactly. :)

Ann Coulter? Didn't s(he) go back to to being the lead dancer in 'Bro Kimbro's Lance in Yer Pants She-male Revue'? Bless her empty head. Do you remember her 'correcting' Bob McKeown on Canada sending troops to Viet Nam?

more gaping stupidity

Coulter graduated near the top of her class at Cornell (far higher than say Bill Maher for example)
then she was a NON RESIDENT successful applicant to Michigan Law (getting into U M as an out of state applicant in 1983 was about the same as getting into Stanford or Harvard). There she graduated as an editor of the law review and order of the coif and then she clerked for the second highest court in the land and then on to the DOJ Honors program. Her academic credentials are equivalent to most tenured professors at places like Duke, Cornell or Columbia Law schools.

Far far smarter than the liberal talking heads who bash her. far far smarter than most of the people on this board

1. He should have been fired.
2. He can shove the apology up his ass.
3. Neither 1 nor 2
4. I Don't care.

Fired. There should be a standard that applies to idiots on the left, as much as it applies to idiots on the right. Many, many idiots on the right have been fired for similarly outrageous or even less outrageous statements, as have others on the left.

What makes this guy any different?

He's not a white conservative?

He's not a white conservative?

In the view of some here, that could very well be the only possible reason, given their responses so far in this thread.

I've been trying real hard not to pee my pants laughing reading some of the posts by some of them.

There is a standard already, those people who hire have the right to fire. It's very simple, no legislation is required. Firing him would be seen as squelching free speech.

Glenn beck is white and wasn't fired, yet he called President Obama a racist and said he doesn't like white people.

that's truth and far different than what Martin the toad said

You have to be kidding? Right?

What's this you bring up about legislation, to me?

Free speech? So it would be okay in your mind for all the other statements that were made by other TV commentators that got them fired?

Do you see a difference between free speech and libel or defamation or threats or anything like this comment was?

Calling her brainless is a personal opinion. Calling here statements idiotic are a personal opinion. Stating that she should be held down against her will and someone crap in her mouth and piss in her eyes is verging on threats and could potentially be seen as prodding others to act in that vain.

I guess Don Imus should have never been fired. Lets all just get a radio or TV show and say whatever we want about others regardless of what the potential outcome is or how it affects others.

You're way off on this. Your analogy is reversed.

Not firing him would, can and is being seen as agreeing with his vulgar, misogynistic and threatening statement.

You and MSNBC have shown your true hatred, evil bias and gross double standard regarding free speech. Good job.
