Poll to see if Americans even have a government that represents them

Select all that apply for and against

Can you please elaborate? I don't know what this means.

There was no one wishing them all dead. Wishing that they had another line of work would be better. It is just a matter of speech and I think you are the first one to take what was posted for our beloved congress people as actually wishing they all died. Oh well...

Throw the Bums out. Replace with New Bums. Throw the Bums out. Replace with New Bums ,,,ad infinitum

The results to the last poll option are one of the most frightening things I have ever seen on this website.

I don't care if you think that Congress is the offspring of Satan himself. You have no right to wish violence on them. Zero. That's about as uncivilized as it gets.
Who is wishing violence and why should Americans care about the government which is ok to send billions of dollars to the middle east, including to places such as Palestine and Israel which already have UHC for its' citizens, while they are still having arguments about some joke they call Obama care for it's own people? and you are SURPRISED Americans would not lift a finger if they drown? no one is inciting violence, people just do not care about the government that never cared about them.

Maybe you and I are looking at two different polls. What I see is:

"HAPPY if all US senators/congressmen would drown and die"

Maybe that has a different literal meaning to you than to me? Maybe the word "happy" means something else? Or what about "drown and die"? Maybe that's just a figure of speech for swimming down the Potomac and never returning to Washington again?

Alright, so it was just a horribly worded poll option with a benign intent?

I'd even donate water wings for those that don't know to swim, because I assume somebody somewhere likes them!

Greetings, Pero. :2wave:

You got it my friend. No one is advocating killing or wishing anyone die.

Alright. I feel better now. And though I still don't agree with it--hey, free speech. :)

Exactly, their might even be someone around who loves them. Probably some corporate big wig who has them in their back pocket..

  Since you're of no further use to me, I want my money back?!!

Roger that, it would be nice to change every last one of them. But with the our political system the ones who replaced them would be just as bad and beholden to the big moneyed folks who finance their campaigns with their millions. By the way, where in Georgia are you from? I live south of Stockbridge.

Aw Geez, just when I thought I was about able to open my own Thai Railroad.

Send me a copy of your Prospectus, I may know some people who might be interested.....

Prospectus? Is that like a prospector looking for gold? Or is it the prospectus of the wife nailing my hide to the wall if I even thought of going to work on the Thai Railroad.

I'm thinking probably choice number two is correct! :lamo:

Against Mr. Nobody.

As for the Congress part - there are good Congresspersons and bad Congresspersons. Regardless, it'd still be sad if that happened.

I myself also would prefer another scenario:
I would prefer that they are all put on trial, and the innocent ones go free, the guilty ones get punished, and the ignorant ones be put on a modest welfare and sent to live in a US ghetto or Iraq that they liberated for the people, however, this is complicated to put in a poll. And if the only options were as they are in this poll, then I stand by my vote - I would be happy to see them go one way or the other.

The leader will one day get through to the people, and he will be the one to appoint all senators and congressmen and president that the people will elect, instead of the riff raff the establishment presents them on the mass media. The name of the leader is Mr. Nobody, he is the creator of the New World Government.

There is a saying that in reality we only have one political party in the United States, but with two wings, the Republican and Democratic wings. If you watch closely, both parties govern almost the same and are beholden to the same moneyed people. Sure the rhetoric is vastly different, polar opposite in fact. But when it comes to governing, they really isn't much difference. Thinking our political parties are different is one of the biggest shams ever pulled on the American People.

Honestly I didnt like any of the voting options. I dont like Obama, I didn't like Bush, and I wasn't a fan of Clinton. Although of the 3 I disliked Clinton the least. However, not liking the majority of politicians for various reasons doesn't really mean I would like Mr. Nobody any better. Every recent president we have had have all been essentially the same to me. I don't believe they act with the best interests of the American people in mind, they act with the interests of their donors and lobbyists in mind, and they spend countless hours and dollars trying to deflect blame and smear the other side. That and the fact that they have all been working toward granting the US government more and more power over people. Republicans and Democrats from the president down are not good for this nation. But neither is a random candidate.

I am happy to inform you that Mr. Nobody will be the best leader you ever had.
