Companion poll to my last two, this one for every one. Who out of the listed people would you not consider voting for at all in 2016? It is a multiple choice poll so pick all that apply. The choices are from those who got the most votes in the other two polls I recently did.

Please be patient while I add the poll.

Some notes before people ask: Joe Biden is only on the list because as VP he stands a decent chance of being a nominee for the democrats. There are more republicans because the democratic poll had 2 top runners, a third place WAY back, and then every one else, while there was alot more divide among republicans who had some interest in almost every one on the poll. This also led to the oddity of Paul Ryan and Jeb Bush not making it into this poll, while Biden and Cuomo did, Originally I was just going to go with the top 5 from each poll, but that did not work out and I would have ended up leaving Rubio off.

The only one I'd consider is Elizabeth Warren. I don't like all of her positions, and it would kind of depend on what some of her presently unknown positions are. But the ones I know and don't like aren't deal-breakers for me, and I've been impressed with how she's held up in congress even if I don't always like what she's standing up for. That last point is the one that's important for me.

I would not vote for any Republicans. Reason: Judge picks.

Yeah...THAT'S the reason...

I note you did not pick any one in the poll. Does that mean you would consider voting for any of them?

The country's probable rapidly changing fortunes during the next couple of years does not allow me to consider any of possible candidates as listed.... for me, it's wait and see.

Good day to ya' Redress

I'll vote for anyone if I like their platform. I'd need to hear them talk in a debate/informal setting before I could single any of them out.

I can say that both Biden and Clinton would have to drastically stray from what they've espoused in recent memory for me to consider them. Everyone else, I'd at least listen to.

Gipper for president. The name of Reagan and the spirit of Clinton!

Good poll. I'm a Republican voter but I would not vote for Ted Cruz and most likely would not vote for Rand Paul (a strong case would need to be made to me on a host of issues) I'm also very unlikely to vote for Joe Biden as I have serious reservations on his ability to achieve legislative victories and his foreign policy stance. I could conceivably vote for Clinton or Cuomo depending on how they ran their campaign if the GOP selects a bad candidate (Cruz, Perry, etc). My ideal candidate is Christie or Jeb, though I'd take others.

The only candidate on there that would drive me to back the Republican under any circumstance would be if Elizabeth Warren won the nomination. She genuinely angers & frightens me. I would do more than I probably ever have in any election to support her opponent.

Make it Kennedy. Clinton raised capital gains taxes, but Kennedy lowered the corporate tax by the largest amount in history (at that time). Also, JFK nailed hotter bitches.

Marilyn Monroe or Monica Lewinsky - you choose.

Other than Cruz or Paul, none of the others wet my appetite.

It's early though. Lots could happen between now and then.

i know hes not going to get the party's approval, but it think Christie would do decent

Can only you see who voted for who?

No. If you click on the number after one of the options you should see who voted for whom.

I've voted for the Republican candidate in almost every Presidential, Senatorial, and Congressional race that I've participated in but I could never vote for Ted Cruz. His behavior before, during, and after the shutdown show how irresponsible and tactless he is, I do not think he is qualified to be President. I'm wary about Rand Paul because of significant policy differences, but I think he is at least level headed and generally a responsible person. I can't say the same about Cruz. And I know I'm not alone on that.

Ultimately it's a worthless poll. 85% of the people here, you give me their name and I will give you who they put on their list.

The informed voter is making an exodus on DP, but the ideologues and hyper-partisans are laying down foundation.

I don't know how anyone can dislike Warren. She's passionate about doing what is right for the American people and not special interest. That is rare in politics.

Please.

Idiots said that about Obama too, and now he's a walking blowjob for the insurance lobby.

Absolutely agree. Everything I know about Cruz suggests to me he should not be put in an executive position. It's not even really about his ideology, but his abrasiveness and impracticality. Rand Paul I'd consider and most likely vote for against many Democrats.

Yeah, and this is why I'm cautious about it.

But I think Warren has a little more going for her than he did. Warren has been under substantially more fire over a substantially longer period of time than Obama ever was before he was president. She seems almost congenitally oblivious to pressure.

That doesn't mean she might not do an about-face if elected. She certainly could. But so far she's toughed it through more, and for longer, than Obama ever did.

No **** Sherlock. Thank you Captain Obvious. An unscientific poll among people we know is not going to be useful? Who the **** knew...

So anyway, about the ****ing topic...

Obama is not the topic. Can we please stick to the topic?

I was not one of them. But another point... do you truly believe that an elected President can do their own thing? The Washington lobby is much more powerful. Not even Jesus would get his way, I think.
