We end up holding our nose to vote for the Republican elite well funded moderate candidate that it takes a microscope to determine the differences between him and his opponent. A Republican moderate boils down to being the asshole in the room who loves big government as much as the left and thinks with a few little tweaks can do it better than his opponents. The voters see it and vote for the Democrat that promises them more free stuff.
They are sick and tired of getting bones thrown their way, but that's what they are going to get and that's all they deserve. When Tea Partiers can stop sounding like childish hippies they will be allowed back at the grown-up table. I will vote for any establishment Republican over a "true" Tea Partier any day of the week.

    Sounding like childish hippies? LOL
Well Fiddytree, you vote your establishment Republican and when you lose and the last of **** hits the fan and the U.S of A is once again in control of the leftists, by that time they will have transformed this country into something it was never intended to be and that will be when I will be heading to oh who knows, maybe New Zealand. Someone wanting to start up a business in New Zealand can do it in about 48 hrs. And you can live through the mess you helped to create. Cheers!

You see that is your problem, we already have too much Hamilton and need a very good dose of Jefferson.

If we had more Hamilton, we wouldn't have to put up with the southern imagination nearly as much and its pervasive need to eliminate the expansion of the tent with its backward sense of hopeless democratic populism.

It seems strange to me that so many Democrats rushed to post in this thread clearly entitled "for non-Democrats only." Notice that conservatives didn't overrun the Liberals only thread, we don't give a sht who they pick. What are they afraid of, we'll pick somebody without their help.

The Liberals will have to get used to the fact that it's not going to be their indicated favorite, Christie, however. We have enough Rinos to get rid of without adding Christie to the list.

    What liberals?

Do you eat your Baloney with mayo?

You know there is a real threat in expanding your tent to the point you no longer stand for anything and that is exactly what is wrong with the moderates in the party.

Ideological purity is not a noble goal.
Freedom of speech is not freedom from criticism.
