If you played across from him he would come off as a complete dick. Here's the catch that's part and parcel of the job which is to screw with his opponents heads.

But the point of this thread is that he was doing this to a TEAM MATE.

And? So what. From what I understand Ingonito was supposed to toughen the guy up. If he cant handle it form his own teammates how do you think he's gona handle it on the field when it gets really bad. There was obviously some concern about that. The is the NFL these guys play for BIG TIME money and they WILL, I guarantee, use ANY advantage they can get away with. During the game it is their job to kick your ass. Period. Mercy, what's that? I played high school ball, and that could be rough, the NFL and the stakes they play for I can only begin to imagine.

"Toughen him up?" This isn't basic training. It's football, a sport. Either the guy has what it takes or he doesn't. This is completely juvenile. I remember hearing about things like this in high school. Do some men just never mature beyond the age of 15 years old?
