Perhaps I earned it inventing and selling iWater. Either way it alters the parameters of the OP and renders it meaningless.

As for adding "status", the argument remains the exact same if you remove the word. You can do odd jobs and pick up cash and remain unemployed, as demonstrated by the people who do so.
Those people work. Just because they don't declare what they earn doesn't mean they are unemployed. "Status" certainly alters the meaning.

Any change alters the impact of employment vs. $25,000. If I move from a mansion with a $6,000/month mortgage to a one-bedroom apartment rental that's $800/month, I've altered the parameters and rendered the OP question meaningless.

Quite the contrary. I have only argued that there are people who would choose "yes" to the original question of the OP, and described some of the reasons they would do so. It is you who are attempting to add in extra restrictions that are not in the OP.
No, you have added extra variables to the OP effectively altering it. And what I have done is argued some of the reasons why people who chose "no" would do so.

It would ask each individual to specifically describe their reasoning - that would be the main qualitative addition.
It's a little more complex than that. I would also ask an individual to consider different future options that might sway them in one direction or the other.

Man you guys honestly don't know how much it sucks. When my hearts ejection fraction was around ten percent I wanted nothing more than to be able to do things again. Work life make love. They are all great things!

Then I don't need to answer your inquiries as you already know the answer. Why do you ask questions you already know the answer to? Just to waste time or for something to pick at? I'm guessing the later.

Re: Would you quit your job?

You guys are reading TOO much into the OP. The question is would you give up your current job and collect $25,000 in income. THAT IS IT!!! There are no "side jobs" or "spouses" involved.

Stick to the darn OP and answer the question!!

The 4 hours then a nap then read a book is my goal in life but most of the time it eludes me.
