Navy's poll was lacking.

she is already running

damn it

Elizabeth Warren would make a much better president

I believe she will run and that she is probably a slight favorite. She could very easily lose though, especially if 2016 turns out to be even a slightly Republican year.

There isn't a Republican in the field that will come close to beating her. The Presidency is hers....if she wants it...and I suspect that she does.

I think she'll run, but unsure whether she wins or loses, so I went with Rotebaga, whatever that is. She's got a pretty muddy record, all that and more will be dredged up.

unlike bill, hillary has zero charisma
the GOP should be recruiting an appealing moderate candidate
someone with charisma, who is younger than hillary

the best thing hillary has going for her is bill
the worst thing hillary has going for her is bill ... and her age ... and her lack of charisma

but if the republicans run a winger, crown her now

I cannot think of two worse candidates

Lieawatha and the Hildabeast.

what sort of man would want either of those two twits as president?

Hillary Clinton has one strong advantage: 100% name recognition. And one medium-strength advantage: she is still associated in the public mind with the "carefree" 90s and her husband's successful (by current dismal standards) administration (even though her botched health care reform came close to destroying it).
But not much beyond that, really. She was not a memorable Senator or Secretary of State, and had not made any significant contribution otherwise.

My guess is she will delay any formal announcement until the last moment: the lack of serious competition from Democrats will make it the safest tactic, and if the GOP will be coalescing around a strong ticket (Chris Christie/Susana Martinez, for example), she will simply decline the honor.

Rotebaga, whatever that is..

Rutabaga is an illegitimate but deeply adored love child of cabbage and - well, another kind of cabbage, known as Brassica rapa.

Before potato has arrived from the colonies, rutabaga was a food and forage staple in much of Eastern Europe. Its bulbous root is almost nutritious, relatively delicious (if your cook is a borderline genius), and can be stored for the whole winter without spoilage.

In other words, if it really comes down to Hillary Clinton against Rutabaga, Rutabaga it is.

Oh, I think Hillary's going for it regardless. "Eight years for Bill, and eight years for Hill," and I think she thinks she's earned it (especially after the treachery of the 2008 election and her then being a good Democrat soldier).

I hope that "What difference does it make?" haunts her until the day she dies.

She is 66, and this is a grueling job. Look at how even the aloof Obama has aged. And she doesn't have the natural sunny disposition of Ronald Reagan or Silvio Berlusconi. Of course, she never lacked in ambition, but she is still human: A "place in the history books" is worth only that much.

I voted she will run a win but that is simply a guess on what will happen.

If the election was today she wins but a lot can happen in 3 years.

I will say this though, its simply a matter of whether she is the nominee or not. If she gets the nod she will be president.

That fact that you're okay with mediocrity says a lot about you.

Hillary has way to much baggage and we still have 2 years to go......everything she touched turns to ****.

You seriously think so?

I agree that a lot can happen between now and then, but...If the GOP (or a hypothetical third party) will produce a minimally viable candidate, what exactly does she have to offer?

Forget "Christie/Martinez". Let it be something like Rubio, or Jindal, or Nikki Haley. There - you have a "compelling personal story", as American as the bloody apple pie.

Hillary Clinton? - well, she had married the right guy. Fireworks. Other than that?

yep thats what i think will happen, to be honest i think she wins very solidly if she gets the nominee unless something big happens before then.
her name, history and recognition is all that will be needed

be clear im not saying i think its whats best i simply think this is what will happen.

if the election was today id bet the farm, barn, tractor and auntie em that shed win, just dont see anybody beating her on a national level

I think Christie is the only "possibility" but thats it

LOL....you guys are going to need a hell of a lot more than a manufactured scandal...ala Benghazi to stop Hilary. Good luck.

Nice Sig........so true!

That's what most of us would say. But most of us aren't career politicians, either, and none of us is the venal, grasping, ruthlessly ambitious Hillary Clinton.

She has the experience of being in the White House for 8 years alongside Bill, then as New York Senator, then as Secretary of State, she knows the ropes and certainly is not as old as Reagan when he became President. She at least is greatly qualified, and not some run of the mill noob who is wet behind the ears born in Canada.

Hillary wont run. She's a liability to her party at this point and she knows it. Running her as the Democratic candidate would be about the same as the Democrats handing the Presidency to the Republicans on a silver platter. I for one do not think Democrats are that stupid. I know she has her fans, and they're a very loud, vocal, ...minority. I think most the Democrats are going to look for a younger and more robust candidate because you can bet the GOP is doing that already - Ted Cruz, Marco Rubio, Rand Paul...just for examples. Hillary is a part of the status quo that's been causing the problems in government for decades - one of the exclusive wealthy families that rule our nation. She has a ton of baggage on her from Benghazi to just about everything else. She's done in politics....she knows it, Obama knows it, and Bill certainly knows it because he hasn't kept it exactly a secret that he doesn't like Obama on a personal level. So I don't pay much attention to those who claim Hillary is going to run, the Democrats are not that stupid, Hillary isn't that stupid, she'll retire for the Party.

yeah no one died at Benghazi-its just a lie the RW media fabricated.
